"Our room was comfortable even though we were on a lower floor and on the side of the building where there was traffic on the street. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was not what we expected. It was OK - but dirty dishes accumulated and tables were often dirty. Seating was challenging at times. On the positive side, the shuttle was great and took us to the cruise port. And the front desk staff were also friendly and helpful."

"Clean room, comfortable bed, wonderful stuff, not too many stairs if you have luggage. Grocery store cross the street. We didn't try the restaurant but I've heard good things. Earplugs are a must but I'm used to pub music living above a pub. If anything it put me to sleep. This will be our go to hotel in Vancouver for all travel"

"Decor was interesting and quirky. Lighting could and should be improved at top of stairs. Lighting in kitchen could also be improved. A new set of pots/pans would be a welcome addition. Shower fixtures are adequate but could also be improved upon. Although, overall, the place was clean, kitchen drawers and bedroom cupboards could do with a cleaning. Beds were comfortable. Location was quiet and ideal for our needs. Both host and owner were accommodating and friendly."
