You get what you pay for

The location was good , and conditions acceptable if you had no money to look for a better place . I had 5 day reservation pay for it, and left the next day . Perfect for backpackers or anyone that don’t care about looks .

Diversão na Lapa

Fui muito bem recebido, me trataram com atenção, fiquei num quarto legal apesar de quente. O acesso conta com MUITA escada, não é legal pra quem tenha alguma deficiência motora. É recomendável Sim, volto mais vezes.

PESSIMO HOSTEL!

Me acomodei no hostel no mes de abril de 2018 e debitaram um valor do meu cartão e ate hoje nao estornaram, valor este que foi debitado antes de minha chegada e disseram se tratar de um adiantamento que em momento algum foi abatido de valor total que paguei pela estadia. O hostel nao responde e-mail e nem contato que fiz pelo expedia. No mais, nao recomendo o hostel pois as instalações nao sao confortaveis, os quartos sao apertados e a localização não facilita uma saída noturna sem auxilio de apps de mobilidade. Gostaria de elogiar os funcionários que foram receptivos e simpáticos. Aguardo posicionamento referente a minha devolução de valores.

Nicely located place, decent breakfast, some interesting travellers, and lots of space to hang out or sit in silence. The neighbourhood is apparently not the safest but I didn't have problems.

não vale à pena

Café da manhã fraco. Cama horrível e travesseiros idem. Quarto apertado e sem cortina, ou seja, você é acordado com o sol na cara. Banheiro pequeno e a descarga estava quebrada. Manutenção precária do estabelecimento em geral. De positivo só o ar condicionado que funcionava bem.

Nice view

You wont find a better hostel in Lapa. The staff is kind and helpful, they have the better información about almost everything in Río. There are pool parties all sundays.

Cuidar mais da limpeza e trocar colchões.

O hostel precisa de um pouco mais de cuidado com a limpeza e com os colchões que são desconfortáveis. A localização é muito boa, principalmente para quem vai usar o aeroporto Santos Dumont, é o pessoal do hostel é bastante prestativo.

Agradável, ótima localização, ambiente agradável

Nunca havia ficado em hotel antes, este foi o primeiro! Eu gostei de cara pelo preço! E depois que cheguei lá fui super bem recebida o lugar super bom de localização, a vista linda dos arcos da lapa :) A recepção super atenciosa! Acomodação muito boa sempre limpa e café da manhã também muito bom! Recomendo!

Bon hostel, dans le quartier des artistes Sanata Teresa, proche du bruyant quartier de Lapa pour les soirées, mais assez oloin pour ne pas etre dérangé par le bruit pour dormir, cadre de l'hotel agréable, tout comme l'équipe

Albergue aconchegante, honesto e divertido.

Excelente albergue para quem visita a cidade do Rio de Janeiro-RJ. As acomodações são agradáveis e limpas, o café da manhã é pontual e especial, a equipe humana é diversificada, compreensível, divertida e informativa. A casa está localizada no bairro Santa Tereza, muito perto do Centro histórico, do Morro Curvelo, dos arcos da Lapa, dos Museus, dos teatros, dos bancos e da panificadora oficial dos biscoitos globo... A locomoção do turista pode ser feita a pé e ou com transporte público para qualquer praia e ou ponto turístico da cidade maravilhosa.

Ótimo Hostel

Muito boa. Ótima localização, bem frequentado, ótimo atendimento. E Hostel muito legal. Vários ambientes, mirantes com lindas vistas. Não tive problemas, mas acho que poderia ter mais banheiros e chuveiros.

Rio Forest Hotel.. delightful stay!! !!!

Rio Forest Hostel was like a villa on the cliffs of Rio. Scenery beautiful accommodations wonderful staff very helpful and delightful. All you could wish for in a community that was nostalgic and gorgeous. The staff was wonderful and catered to your every need. I give this hostel 5 stars and would definitely return here whenever in Rio de Janeiro.

Hostel legal porém muito afastado.

Funcionários legais e prestativos, tudo ótimo, tirando a ladeira que temos que subir e descer pra acessar o Hostel. Tem Bondinho que passa em frente mas ele para de funcionar cedo, tem onibus também mas nao tem ponto perto. Café da manhã regrado demais, horrivel mas tudo bem é o único detalhe negativo.

Muito bom

Hostel perto do centro e da vida noturna do Rio, muito limpo, bom atendimento, com uma vista incrível e todas as áreas do hostel são muito confortáveis. Só deixou a desejar no café da manhã, pois, diz ser incluso mas só pode pegar uma vez sem nem poder pegar mais um copo de suco.

Chambre Forest

Très bon séjour de cinq nuits au Rio Forest dans la chambre avec balcon, vraiment agréable! Le quartier est central et pratique pour toutes les visites de la ville (plages, centre...) mais un peu difficile d'accès en montée, ne pas hésiter a prendre des taxis qui sont à des tarifs vraiment abordables. Le point négatif c'est l'implication du bar et petit déjeuner, ne parlant pas anglais donc sans effort supplémentaire en plus du service de base. Les réceptionnistes, eux, sont tous eux très sympas et serviables! Un très bon hôtel dans l'ensemble avec la piscine trop agréable en fin de journée.

Prima verblijf voor 3 nachten

Toen we met de taxi de rit naar het hostel namen schrokken we in eerste instantie een beetje van de buurt waar we doorheen gingen, maar al snel kwamen we in een andere buurt terecht en zag het er redelijk veilig uit. Eenmaal bij het hostel belden we aan en moesten we een redelijk lange trap omhoog lopen met de bagage, gelukkig kwam er na de eerste trap een klein gondeltje naar beneden om de bagage op te halen, want om bij het hostel te komen moet je nog een stukje klimmen (en in de hitte is dat best zwaar!) eenmaal boven werd onze bagage uit de gondel gehaald de de receptioniste en naar de receptie gesleept (het was een klein vrouwtje, maar ze wilde heel graag helpen!) inchecken verliep vlot en ik kon het resterende bedrag met mijn creditcard betalen (bleek ook nog eens 10 euro goedkoper te zijn vanwege de koerswisseling!) vervolgens moesten we weer een trap op om bij onze privé kamer te komen (santa Teresa) en de receptioniste bood weer aan om de tas de tillen, uiteindelijk hebben we het met z'n tweetjes gedaan ;-). De kamer was erg hoog, er was airco en een aparte badkamer, maar alles oogde een beetje oud, is ook wel de stijl van het hostel. beddengoed wordt niet verschoond, maar je bed wordt wel opgemaakt iedere dag! Geluidsoverlast hadden we ook nauwelijks. metro stations liggen op loopafstand, maar je moet niet slecht ter been zijn. Hostel is zeker een aanrader, vooral dankzij de staff!!

Beautiful hostel, nice private room, friendly staff. The cleaning service was not that good and we didn't get fresh towels during our stay (4 nights).

Stay marred by # of stairs from street + noise

Overall a good experience marred by: -dozens is stairs needed to get to the hostel from the street. Not noted In previous reviews. - noise New Years midnight to 6am as they hold a New Years party. Rio Forest refunded our room payment for that night. Wi-Fi worked, room was comfortable.

Java toutes les nuits , que des escaliers, Petit déjeuner à la chichette Nous avions commande un taxi pour notre départ commission pas faite et nous avions failli rater notre bus Quartier tranquille mais en altitude Il faut tjrs grimper comme dans l hotel
