Lá fala que tem cozinha compartilhada com acesso a todos, mas o que acontece e que na hora do almoço que todo mundo tem o que fazer na cozinha e que fecham pra limpeza. Mt contraditório. Mas o hostel tem estilo de casa e tem uma vibe boa e próximo da praia. E mt bom nesse sentido. Tem muita propaganda de festaas e saídas em conjunto para diversão, mas na verdade não e bem assim. Mas e um lugar bom.

e um lugar bom com uma vibe boa, a maioria das pessoas são legais e de boa interação. só não gostei da funcionaria Clarissa que se apresentou meio grosseira no tratamento e um pouco invasiva, diferente dos outros funcionarios e de como funciona o lugar. Em algumas situações na hora do checkin seria importante ja deixar melhor explicado algumas coisas, pois detalhes minimos que poderiam resolver de forma simples são complicados por alguns funcionários. No mais o local e muito bom e oferece free tour pelo Jamir que e uma otima pessoa e uma boa localização. Vale a pena

Barato e é isso aí

Caso tenha interesse em pagar pouco pela estadia e curtir a cidade, esse é o lugar. O hostel tem clima jovem e atendimento excelente. Mas a estrutura e condições do lugar deixa a dssejar. Você recebe apenas a roupa de cama, de resto é cada um por si. Se tem medo de pegar COVID esse não é o lugar. É pouco ventilado e sem normas de hegiene ou uso de máscaras.

Amei estar no Pura Vida, fui muito bem recebida, fiz amigos, todos dão suporte, ajudam, são simpáticos... Viajei sozinha pela primeira vez, o funcionário John que organiza os passeios, foi excelente, garante a interação entre os hóspedes, diverte todo mundo, sempre soube responder as perguntas sobre os destinos dos passeios e dicas que precisei. Vou voltar sem dúvidas. Pontos que podem ser melhorados: Banheiros ao lado da recepção, podem ser limpos mais vezes ao dia, e nos demais banheiros ter suporte de papel higiênico de acordo com rolo de papel usado, para que os mesmos não fiquem jogados e expostos.

O único ponto positivo é a distância entre o hostel e a praia de copacabana, a localizaçõ é maravilhosa, porém o estabelecimento é na entrada de uma comunidade, o local em sí não é perigoso para quem está no hostel, mas motoristas de aplicativos não entram na rua, te deixam na esquina, e a maioria deles cancelam a corrida quando veêm o seu destino. A estação de metrô mais próxima fica há 11 minutos de caminhada. Não tem frigobar no quarto e apenas escadas, escadas que, inclusive, são enormes, o hostel fica em uma subida, sendo assim não tem acesso nenhum para cadeirantes. O hostel tem móveis quebrados, lencóis com aparência de sujos e velhos, o quarto privativo é beeeem básico, apenas para dormir mesmo, não tem TV, sinal do wifi é mediano. No geral, achei o preço alto, visto que os pontos negativos são maioria.

Fica na comu Pavão-pavãozinho. Fotos enganosas.

Fiquei por 3 diárias hospedados no hostel pura vida, em um quarto PRIVATIVO. Todos os dias tive algum contratempo. O colchão e os travesseiros são bem velhos e com estado de conservação ruim. Tive que pedir para trocar o lençol, pois o primeiro não cobria todo o colchão. O quarto tem cheiro de mofo. Na primeira noite a luz do quarto estava queimada. O banheiro não é como na foto, nem tampouco o quarto. As fotos enganam bem. Fiquei por um dia inteiro/noite e duas manhãs sem água. Por uma noite fiquei sem água quente, pois o chuveiro parou de funcionar. Os ubers não te deixam na porta do hostel, pois nao adentram a comunidade. Por mais que o endereço conste como Copacabana, a hospedagem se encontra no início de uma comunidade (pavão-pavãozinho).

Copacabana for NYE

Well, it is not the cleanest hostel but it will do. The sheets were stained. The night stand was broken and one outlet had wires hanging out. My shower flooded the first time I used it. Staff did fix it right away though. The staff does plan out activities and were generally helpful. I came down with food poisoning one day and one staff member went above and beyond to look after me. He even made me food but I was ready to eat. Most of the other guest spoke Portuguese or Spanish, so don’t rely on people to speak English. Most made an effort to say hello and tried to be friendly despite the language barrier. Maybe we all need to experience being an outsider from time to time. That’s how we grow. It is in an interesting area. It’s very close to the main road in Copacabana and close to the beach. It’s also at the mouth of a favela. While it looks a little rough, I was safe the entire five days. I will add that I’m a solo Caucasian female traveler so I probably stood out. I guess it all depends on what you are looking for in a trip. I was looking to save some money and be close to Copacabana for NYE so it worked out.

Hostel próximo do comércio na Avenida Nossa Senhora de Copacabana, 2 quadras do Posto 5 e 5/6 quadras do metrô Cantagalo. Atendimento de todos com muita atenção, mas esqueceram de avisar sobre a toalha e não possuiam adaptador de tomada, nem para emprestar e nem para vender como ouvi a explicação para um outro hóspede. Há serviço de café da manhã que se comprado antecipdamente tem 20% de desconto.

Embora esteja situado em Copacabana, a localização é péssima. Quase não passa carro na rua de tanta gente. O hostel tem uma pegada bastante jovial e quem está animado a encarar músicas altas até tarde. O atendimento é muito bom, mas o local não.

Hostel staff are great and really helpful. The room itself was ok, a little run down but bed was comfortable. We had a private room. It’s at the start of the Favela and you need to be careful when entering and exiting but overall we enjoyed our stay. Bar in hostel is good. They can sort out good tours for you as well. Short walk to Copacabana Beach.

Abenteuerliche Lage

Das Hostel liegt am Eingang zu einer Favela. Man fühlt sich zwar nicht komplett unsicher, jedoch sieht man viel Armut in der Ecke des Copacabana. Wir hatten ein Doppelzimmer, mit Ablagemöglichkeiten, Klimaanlage und Badezimmer. Leider hat die Klospülung schlecht funktioniert und entgegen des Versprechens kam keiner um diese zu reparieren. Beim Frühstück stand zwar auf der Seite, dass dieser inklusive wäre, dem ist aber nicht so. Es lohnt sich mehr sich selbst zu versorgen. Zum Glück hat man die Möglichkeit dazu, Dank der Gemeinschaftsküche. Einige vom Personal waren zuvorkommend, andere weniger. Einer wollte uns mit dem Preis für Taxi abziehen, indem er 30 R$ mehr verlangt hat. Gepäckaufbewahrung nach dem Auschecken kostet 5 R$ pro Tag pro Tasche. Für den Preis in der Karnevalszeit war es jedoch eine vergleichbar günstige Unterkunft.

Las sabanas estaban rotas, el aire no funcionaba

Llegue de noche, tuve que tocar el timbre con un bolígrafo porque tiene una pequeña reja, en una zona NO agradable ni segura. El taxista se perdió y se fue inmediatamente que baje. La habitación tenía las sábanas rotas, el aire no funcionaba bien.
