Hotel Nacional Inn Rio Copacabana is the perfect choice of hotel to stay at Copacabana! It has decent rooms, great breakfast and the location is amazing as we could just walk to the beach and other areas closeby as it is safe even at night. We did not need a highly expensive beach side resort as we were mostly out. The receptionists are friendly & helpful :)

I had a very busy five day schedule and the Hotel Nacional did an excellent job in providing me with lodgings that allowed me to focus on the work I had to do. It made me comfortable not only in body but in spirit. Staff were very friendly, accessible, and competent. I recommend the establishment very strongly without any concerns.

Front office Francisco was very good, he was the only person could communicate in English. We were able to rely on his knowledge and understanding ability. Hotel located in a great location, walkable distance to beach and local food/drinks/beach side restaurants are very nice. Little noise in the night from the neighborhood. Would recommend a microwave or coffee machine in the room will help.

An amazing property! The staff is extremely helpful and friendly! The check-in process was fast and uncomplicated. The room was very nice! The bed was comfortable, I slept like a baby. The rooms are clean with plenty of towels. The shower is hot. My one and only complaint is a small one. The electrical outlets only works when the room key is in the slot. I didn't realize this at first, so I left my phone to charge while I went to get breakfast, only to come back an hour later with a still almost dead phone. Not a huge deal, just keep that in mind. I did discover the bathroom outlets work regardless of the key. Other than that small little detail, everything else was perfect. The view from the rooftop pool is incredible! I highly recommend staying there. You are just minutes away from everything. The neighborhood is lively and walkable. I felt perfectly safe walking around even at night. Plenty of shops, bars, and restaurants nearby. I'll be sure to stay there again on my next visit to Copacabana.
