Modest hotel, good price - quality ratio

I arrived late at night. Everyone was nice, and most of the staff could speak Spanish and English in addition to their native Portuguese. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The place looked a little old, but that’s not a bad thing to me because, as I said, they were clean and comfortable. I’ll stay there in a future visit to Rio.

My experience at Hotel Atlântico Tower was very disappointing, especially during check-out. I had a night flight and asked if I could wait in the lobby or use some of the facilities after checking out, as I had a long wait ahead. I wasn't even asking for a room — just somewhere to stay comfortably while I was still a guest in the country. I was also willing to consume something inside the hotel (food, drinks, etc.). Despite this, the staff were completely unhelpful and even rude in their tone. They didn’t offer any support or alternatives and made it very clear I wasn’t welcome to stay. To make things worse, they charged me to store my suitcase — something that many hotels offer as a courtesy. Their customer service was seriously lacking, and they didn’t seem to know how to handle simple guest requests. Also, during my stay, I had asked for my room to be cleaned, but when I came back later, it was exactly as I had left it — dirty and untouched. No explanation, no adjustment, nothing. It felt like they simply didn’t care about guest comfort at all. This was the last hotel I stayed at in Rio de Janeiro, and unfortunately, it left a very bad impression just before leaving the country. For the price they charge, I expected much better service and a more professional attitude. I do not recommend Hotel Atlântico Tower, and I really hope they improve their customer service and basic hospitality standards.

Voltaria e recomendo

A estadia me surpreendeu positivamente, a recepcao foi cordial, como cheguei bem antes do check-in me ofereceram guardar a bagagem por uma taxa de 30,00 e enquanto isso fui pra área piscina, bar, sauna e academia, areas essas que funcionam a partir das 9 horas. Elevadores sao pequenos mas tem 2 que conseguem atender bem. O quarto e banheiro são espaçosos e confortaveis, com ar, tv, frigobar. O saguão é espacoso e conta com varias cadeiras individuais de espera e conta com caixa ATM. A regiao a noite da uma certa insegurança, por isso e bom estar com alguem ou chegar/sair de uber ou taxi, e durante o dia é mais tranquilo. Próximo ao hotel tem o VLT, varios restaurantes e bem proximo aos famosos bares da Lapa. Enfim, gostei bastante da hospedagem, voltaria e recomendo.

Quando nos instalamos, detectamos que o chuveiro estava com problemas: saindo pouca água, esquentando absurdamente, fiz uma reclamação, expliquei o ocorrido, pedi para arrumarem, mas nada foi feito, até o dia que saíi e reclamei novamente na recepção, que por sina, foi mjuito demorado.

Hotel atlantico tower

Hotel construido em 1950 e adquirido a pouco tempo pela.rede de.hotel atlantico, o mesmo segue em processo de modernizacao. Tem andares que ja estao reformados e os andares inferiores ainda, porem preservando o ar de antiguidade q na minha opniao e fantastico. Hotel muito bem localizado no centro antigo do rio, praticamente enfrente as lojas populares q tem preco incríveis. Restaurante do hotel atende bem e com preco justo compativel com q regiao, partindo de r$28.00. Para mim pode ser melhorado o check-out, estendendo ate as 14:00 pois sair antes do almoco e ter q deixar as malas no hotel ja gera um custo de r$30.00 para guarda ate cincos malas. De resto eu recomendo.

Fiz uma reserva para casal com criança e que teria uma cama extra disponível, porém no momento da reserva tive que ficar em um quarto com apenas uma cama porque a terceira pessoa era cortesia, sendo que reservei pra três, mesmo sendo criança. Piso do quarto estava grudento, chiclete grudado no móvel e resto de sabonete no banheiro. Café da manhã estava mais ou menos. Mesmo sabendo que contratei o mais barato da lista disponível, esperamos o mínimo de qualidade do Hotel.
