The entire hotel was extremely clean, and the staff was beyond helpful and friendly. The hotel upgraded our room and provided us with a later checkout which was very appreciated. When I come back to Rio, I will be sure to stay at the Arena Copacabana Hotel again!

We had a wonderful time here. The hotel is nice, the rooftop has an incredible view especially at night, and the staff were super helpful and friendly. We ran into zero issues and will definitely be staying here again if we go back to Rio.

The hotel is an older building but well maintained. The breakfast buffet was very nice and the breakfast staff were excellent! The staff working the roof top is hit and miss, some were friendly and some were not. Also, this is a traditional Brazilian hotel so face towels will not be provided and the toilet had a slight smell after flushing. The location is excellent right across from the Copacabana beach.

Good location and amazing views

The location is amazing, few meters from the Copacabana beach. We got lucky to get a room with views of the beach and Christ the redeemer. The staff were helpful and the breakfast tasty. They have great caipirinhas. The swimming pool is on the roof top and provides perfect spots for pictures.

I found that this hotel was at the excellent location, close to all amenities, had a good restaurants and of course close to Copacabana beach! It was very convenient to step out and enjoy the day in the hotel’s neighbourhood. At the same time, overall it wasn’t very expensive option, it had quite acceptable price. Room was comfortable, bed was excellent, however I found it a bit more noisy than expected, you can easily hear the noises in the hallway. On the other hand, that has never happened after hours, so that didn’t bother me much. Breakfast buffet was very good, with lots of choices, and very decent hours of operations, you could always squeeze in the breakfast, since it was open at 6-10am. On the other hand, roof top bar with the swimming pool is a gem! I loved spending time there, it has several seating options, nice tanning area at the top floor, and small but refreshing swimming pool on the 14th floor. Food is decent to grab a bite if you are hungry, and drinks were phenomenal. I recommend a stay here as a very good option for your next stay in Rio!
