I did not appreciate the fact that I had confirmed reservation for Xmas Eve and the restaurant closed at the time of the reservation. No explanation or anything just sorry it's closed. We ended up having to get food from from rimi just so we could eat. Nice overall hotel but skip the restaurant!

5/10 - Non-Responsive to Service Issue The hotel facilities themselves were generally decent in terms of cleanliness, etc. Some of the staff were friendly and pleasant to guests, while others were at times dismissive or rude. The major issue we encountered arose with the room service. The hotel seems to often understaff their food services team, so that there is insufficient staff to deliver service in a timely fashion. We ordered room service dinner @ 8:45pm (restaurant closes 10pm), and were told it could take upto 90 mins because they were too busy. Despite our frustrations with that we agreed due to limited options. Our food ended up being delivered after more than 2 hours and was cold. When we expressed our disappointment the next day, we were told by a junior staff member that management said that it was our fault for ordering from the restaurant and they were unable to do anything aside from offer us a complimentary breakfast on our “next stay.” We asked for someone from management to contact us directly which they committed to do but never followed up. We were shocked at this management response and it marred an otherwise acceptable stay.

But we would like to make this misunderstanding clear .Since the kitchen was very busy , we have warned you about the waiting time ,that it will be 1.5 hours at least to wait. Regarding the conversation on the next day , unfortunately since the Food and Beverage manager was on meeting and physically was not able to talk at that moment , the free cocktail's and free breakfast was offered as an apologies. But , since you refused for cocktails and breakfast , your contact information was taken to have an opportunity to reach you back later . And when the manager tried to call you , she was not able to reach the phone number which you gave us.We admit that the waiting time was longer than you expected, an apology was offered, witch you refused to accept.If you would like to reach out to our manager, please share a contact information , where we can reach out.Sincerely ,

The location can’t be any better, the receptionist was so helpful and the services were amazing. The room is so clean and well furnished. There was a laundry room in the first level which was very useful. Loved the city, loved the hotel and won’t mind repeating my visit one more time.

This was a great hotel in a fantastic location! The staff were very helpful and friendly, the rooms were clean and comfortable and there was a good selection for breakfast each morning. The location was simply brilliant as very convenient to enable us to walk around the old town but in a quiet location too. Would highly recommend!

This is THE BEST place to stay if you want to see the center of the Old Town Riga. The hotel is right behind the House of the Blackheads by the Old Town Square. The rooms are super modern large beds with heated bathroom floor, so nice! The breakfast in the morning is amazing! So much food, so delicious, we lingered a bit too long and almost missed our flight!!! The front desk people were always so helpful friendly and super nice, we were so impressed!

Great location in old town Riga, lovely staff, and awesome breakfast buffet. We love this hotel and keep coming back. My one (tiny) complaint is the room was way too warm and we could not get it to lower!

Loved this hotel. Hotel is new and the room was very well laid out. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was very clean well designed. Staff was super friendly and helpful. The hotel is ideally located for a visit to the old town and also handy to walk to the centre of the city. Public transit and bus and train stations are within walking distance. Highly recommend this hotel.
