Check-in was partially explained - I got the key from a lockbox but hauled all my stuff up five flights of stairs before calling the host to learn that I needed to go down a side hallway, which had an elevator that wasn't mentioned in the listing...

"We were a family of 3 and stayed in the bigger apartment. It was a wonderful, everything was brand new and clean, the pull out couch was made up for the night for my son, and we especially enjoyed the quiet, but yet very centrally located area in Riga. There are a few very good restaurants just around the corners from the aparthotel, better than the famed Milda Restaurant ( don’t waste your time going there). Overall, I would highly recommend booking a stay at the Carillon."
