Super social and friendly hostel. Staff are excellent, breakfast is great and good vibes all around. Great place to meet people and I’d love to stay here again one day
Great hostel in terms of location, breakfast, and facilities. The only downside is it was so hard to sleep because of the street noise, light coming in from outside, and the room being quite hot and stuffy even with the window open.
I haven’t stayed in a hostel for decades , so was very much out of my comfort zone.
The staff were friendly , atmosphere calm , friendly and welcoming.
The hotel made my stay n Riga great
I had a fantastic stay at this hostel in Riga and would absolutely give it 5 stars! The location is unbeatable - right in the city center, just a short and easy bus ride from the airport. It’s perfect for exploring both the charming Old Town and the more modern parts of the city. Plus, it’s just a few steps away from the central market, which I definitely recommend visiting!
The included breakfast was a great bonus, and the prices were very fair for what you get. I also really appreciated the attention to detail - I requested a lower bunk by the window, and they made sure to accommodate me, which was a lovely touch.
The hostel also offers activity recommendations and sometimes hosts fun game nights, making it a great place to meet other travelers.
The internet speed is good aro 100/150Mb in download.
One quirky detail: the entrance is actually inside the McDonald's - don’t let that throw you off!
All in all, I 100% recommend this place. Great vibe, great value, great location!
The staff. One person who checked me in on September 11th (evening) did an outstanding job taking her time introducing me to the hostel and it’s service, plus giving me some great suggestions on the map you all provide. I’m sorry I forgot her name.
I really enjoyed the social aspect of this backpackers hostel. Lovely guests and friendly staff members. Definitely recommend having their waffles for breakfast - they are delicious :)
Very friendly and helpful staff. Waffles for breakfast have been great. Good bed and rooms. Showers with free towels. I liked my stay and can recommend
The showers are dangerous, especially for people with mobility issues---too high off the ground and with no kind of hand rails.
It would be nice if there were one or two single or double rooms.
Megyn was an absolute delight!
Very noisy at night. Don’t be surprised to hear people drinking and talking load in common area past midnight. I find this place more suitable for younger crowds in their 20s or who are in party mode. Best time to get sleep here is 4am to noon
I like everything about this hostel - their staff were very friendly and accommodating, facilities are comfortable and clean, good location close to the Old Town plus good breakfast. Recommended for those who want value for their money hostel in Riga.
