"My wife and I absolutely loved our stay at the Buckwild cabin! We arrived after dark and were pleasantly greeted with a nicely prepared fire in the fireplace. It wasn't long before the cabin was warm on the cool October evening. The cabin is heated by 2 portable heaters as well and it was very comfortable within minutes. The aroma of the cabin bought back memories of an old cabin I used to go to in Canada as a kid. A mixture of old wood, fireplace and an abundance of well-prepared meals. I was in heaven! We met Jon and discussed our plans, and he pointed out several options. We spent most of our time walking the nearby trails and enjoying the fall colors. Jon is a great host, and his place is a treasure. The beds and linens were extremely comfortable, and the hot showers were appreciated. Old-school hand-crafted wood furniture adds to the charm. The kitchen is suitable for making great meals. GREAT memories were made here by many, and I am glad that we could make our own. We hope to be back soon!!"

"The cabin was the perfect little get away. We had an amazing time. The host was very nice and hands off so we could just enjoy our weekend away. The games in the cabin were perfect for the later evenings when we had nothing else to do. I would recommend bringing/ buying extra toilet paper and paper towels as there were no extras in the cabin. Otherwise, we had an amazing weekend!"

"The house was great very clean. Large updated kitchen with everything you need to cook and serve. 2 nice bedrooms and 3 rd bedroom huge master suite with fireplace. 3 full baths and washer dryer. Comfortable seating thru out. Lots of windows for viewing the lake from inside. Huge deck with table chairs. Had a girlfriend week we all loved it. Would like to come back in summer with grandkids. "
