Super cute place, absolutely loved having the Xbox and hot tub! The heaters worked phenomenally and were very easy to adjust. Mattress was a little soft for my liking but a bed’s a bed Mio is a great little town, food spots were awesome and the shops and trails nearby kept us entertained very well. Overall I definitely recommend this place for a couple nights stay and I plan to return!

Wonderful weekend getaway! Everything you could want to relax all within 100ft of each other! Whether it was grilling and listening to the stream, having a fire and looking at stars, or a dip in the hot tub after a long hike it was perfect!

Cozy Get Away

This was a cozy little cabin to stay for the Valentine's Day weekend. It was clean and comfy, and close to Mio for restaurants and shopping. There was a lot of snow during our stay, but the driveway was thoroughly cleared when we arrived making it easy to get in and out.

The property was wonderful. Tucked in a small neighborhood and feels very secluded. Very scenic little creek running through the backyard makes for a great weekend getaway spot. Great couples cabin, we would definitely stay again!

Cozy and Close to Town!

Very pleased with our stay, the cabin is perfect for 1-4 people (we had 3 adults and an infant). It is cozy as the description says so could be tight with more than 4. The setting is nice and we enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit! PS the inflatable mattress made the fold out couch bed very comfortable.

We had a wonderful weekend stay at this adorable little cabin! Everything we needed was there, clean and ready to go! Bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed binge watching our favorite show at night on the big TV! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone! We will be back to enjoy the hot tub when its not negative degrees outside! ;)

Change of scenery

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Mio while staying at this Cozy Cabin! It is cozy indeed and quite comfortable. The hosts have been thoughtful in providing equipment and amenities that can be used as the weather allows. We stayed during a beautiful snowy time. I look forward to coming back in warm weather to enjoy what the Ausable River has to offer.

Summer Vacation

We stayed here for a week and a half with our dogs and loved it! We hung out in the creek during the day and used the fire pit every night. The host are great and respond fast. We checked out the flea market and the Mio pizza place . We also got tattoos in town at alter ego.ego.Great

Woods Therapy

First night was hot we enjoyed sitting in the brook in our bag chairs. Hot tub was relaxing. We did not get to explore the trails. We definitely want to come back and do that. Note for those middle age and up you have to climb over partner/spouse to get out of bed as the room is tight. I slept on the couch that was very comfortable so no worries.

This cabin is so nice. It has everything you need. Bed is very comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with silverware and dishes. It has a Kuerig. Electric stove pots and pans. Outside has a gas and charcoal grill. There is also a tripod for cooking over a fire. The hot tub is perfect. I will definitely be staying here again

Such a great weekend

My wife and I LOVED this cabin. It is exactly what you think of when you envision a cabin up north. It’s in a small neighborhood just outside of the town but it feels secluded with lots of great wildlife. There were deer by at night, few owls, and other cool wildlife encounters. The fire pit being next to the creek was a wonderful vibe and there are some nice trees for cover. The grill works very well but if you are interested in going out, there’s a great breakfast/lunch spot right up the road. We will be back soon!
