"We stayed at this property about 15 years ago when it was Tan Tara and was getting a bit long in the tooth. Margaritaville has freshed up a lot of the property. Bathrooms looked new, new floors in the rooms, etc. The staff was friendly and helpful and when our room was not available for the 3rd night, Michael at the front desk got us an upgrade to a lakeside suite. Very nice! I also played golf at the Oaks/Margaritaville course and it was in nice condition. We were there mid October, so some of the restaurants were closed but we went to Landsharks three times, ordering different food each time and were pleased with the variety of the menu and drinks. Looking forward to returning in season and enjoying the bar by the pool. Highly recommended."

"The staff was amazing and so helpful. I think the hotel will improve if they did a deep cleaning and upgrade of kitchen items. Then have a zero tolerance and fine if any Marijuana use is done in the building. That would really go long way to improve things. Especially since their staff is already doing a great job."
