"A lovely hotel which was comfortable and well sutuated. The beds and pillows were excellent, very comfortable. Full control over room temperature and a nice hot shower. Great sauna facilities for ten euro each."

While Santana itself is quiet and peaceful and about a 40-minute drive to Funchal, the description does not reflect the actual setting. The cleanliness of the unit was below standard, and the towels provided were very rough and uncomfortable. Overall, aside from liking the quiet location, the stay did not align with the listing or typical expectations for a vacation rental. Due to inaccurate information and the condition of the property, I would not recommend staying here."
