"For about EUR 184 per night the hotel doesn‘t fulfill a middle class hotel standard at all. 2 lamps in the room were broken, the interior is very rudimentary, TV was blurry, whitrpool engine broken, dirty and ice cold. This is maximum a 2 star hotel. For that price, you get a good quality 4 star hotel in Rio with ocean view."

I didn’t like the small unlit sign at the road, the dirty driveway is in poor conditions, no visibility on top of the hill plus big potholes, the property sits at a steep angle to the ocean requiring big steps stairs to access the room or the pool. "The pousada was homey and comfortable. The colored bungalows made it feel a bit like a sleepaway camp and the home cooking made it feel like staying with a family. Great place if you're not looking for anything too upscale and are happy with mellow vibes. The grounds are beautifully kept and there's a nice, small pool. It's isolated on its' own more remote part of the island, but it's a short walk out to the dock to hop on a boat and explore the other wonders of Ilha Grande. "

"Very convenient option before crossing to Ilha Grande. The rooms are very basic but the bed was fine and the a/c was in good working condition. Staff and the owner were very friendly and accommodating, including special requests that we had. Breakfast was very good, with plenty of options. "
