Perfect bungalow

Check in was simple, it was walking distance to anything down town but tucked away from the busyness. The little kitchen was perfect for making a quick meal, which is nice as dining out is pricey in Reykjavík. Would highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at Guesthouse Galtafell! Really good value for money, clean and lovely and warm rooms. The location is amazing, walking distance to BSI bus station and central Reykjavik. Checking in was so easy too! We had a small issue in our room. The toilet leaked but Guesthouse Galtafell could not have done more! They immediately moved us to a new upgraded room and were so apologetic. Things happen but the way they dealt with the situation was brilliant! Without hesitation, I would stay here again and will have no issue recommending this room to anyone! Thank you Guesthouse Galtafell

This is a beautiful, historic building that is in a great, central location. The check-in and check-out processes were easy and quick. The only issue is that the hot water smells a bit of sulfur.

I was allowed to check in early after arriving at Keflavik in an overnight flight. I was allowed to check in as soon as I arrived - around 10:30 a.m. Extremely comfortable bed, quiet neighbourhood, you can walk downtown in about 10 minutes.

This is a good option for the price and location close to the national airport and bus station to the international airport. Only a 10-12 minutes walk to the city center. Simple, but clean and safe. Would stay here again!
