A Stunning Ground Floor Apartment

A Stunning Ground Floor Apartment

8/10 Good
"Basically this is a good property which we would use again. From the listing we arrived expecting [hoping for?] a very high quality property. Initially we were worried as the parking area was scruffy and overgrown, and the front of the property was a wonky gate and large weeds and thistles. When we opened the door the flat was stuffy and strong smell of polish, so we tried to open doors and windows and could not open any of the front windows. Phoned owner who said he would come over the following day but we said no [he suggested they may have been painted closed?]. We did get the left one in the bedroom open. None of the windows in the lounge open, and for a property at this price I think a fan should be included, it was quite hot when we were there. Having said all that, once we were settled in, the main rooms of the property [the most important bits] are good. Bedroom is fine with comfortable/firm bed. Living room has 3 sofas and telly. Bathroom has large walk in, overhead shower, which is big positive. Kitchen is nicely done out with everything you need. There is a dresser in the spare bedroom. Back garden a positive though also needed weeding. We parked on the road by the side of the house and there seemed to be spaces most of the time. Southwold is around 10 minutes walk to high Street, up to say 20-25 minutes to Sail Loft. Possibly property needs local property manager, as couldn't help noticing when leaving that as well as arrival issues the bins were all full."
