"Lovely second stay at the Nautilux. We stayed in a patio hot tub room again, with half board, which suited us perfectly. The staff are all great, exceptionally friendly and professional. The hotel is one of the cleanest we have ever stayed in. There wasn’t much in the way of evening entertainment, but that suited us. The food was always freshly prepared, and delicious. The indoor spa is excellent and we enjoyed the steam room and sauna and a treatment. We also did palates and boot camp which was great too. One of the very best hotels we have stayed in!"

"The hotel is clean, had great vibe and interior design. Amenities include a small gym with good equipment and a yoga studio. Good was fantastic, great section for meat and non-meat eaters. Restaurant and bar staff very friendly and good service. Good selection of pools, just have to be up early for main pool ‘best’ beds, with canopies. Can’t fault the hotel but was disappointed with the reception service. We went for our honeymoon and pre-told the hotel. We weren’t given an upgrade like many couple we spoke to and like many reviews show. We actually were given a different room for the 1st night because our original room was broken. Meaning we had to move room the following morning and couldn’t unpack and relax the night of arrival. The room was bigger and reception made it sound like they were giving a complimentary upgrade (for 12 hours), though it was only because they had to and it actually gave us more inconvenience. As a ‘sorry’ we got given the same fruit platter and sparkling that we would have got anyway as it was our honeymoon. After that bad start the rest of the stay was lovely. "

"We traveled with two infants and the hotel did not have us down as staying with two infants, the staff weren't the most accommodating with the children at the meals."

"I stayed here for a week and I would rate it as the worst resort I have ever stayed in. Beach was bad , ocean too rough, and only one beach bar for entire beach and it was bad service. "

"Great location, great faciaities staff was friendly and helpful. Location was ideal with the hotel having both beach and pool, beach is pebble so some may not like that. Highly recommend this place. Only warning is price does not include 15 E per day tax which would be nice if this was included in payment instead of asked for at the end of the stay/ "

"We stayed as a group of 8 (5 adults and 3 children) in August and had an amazing stay.Location is close to the town of Rethimno a couple of kilometres from the coast, so only a very short drive away (you can walk to the beach if you don't mind walking back up the hill!) Being on the side of a hill, you have amazing views across to the coast with uninterrupted sea views.The villa is large, so plenty of space to spread out both inside and out around the pool and barbecue area. The pool was large, warm and clean.It was very clean and very well equipped with all the kitchen and food utensils you could need.Communication was great in the lead up to the trip and the gift of some home grown fruit, homemade cake and homemade raki was a specual touch.We would thoroughly recommend."
