I would not rate this property 4 stars. The ‘all inclusive’ was very limited. The dining area is very small with only a few choices at meal times. The walk to the beach was unpleasant. The hotel is on a noisy main road. I think the pictures are not a realistic reflection of how the hotel looks

Très bien

Hôtel très bien. Tout service sur place. Très jolis extérieurs. Très propre. Seul bémol c’est qu’à notre étage il y a eu beaucoup de bruit la première nuit des gens qui n’ont pas respectés. Une porte donnant sur l’extérieur était cassé. Et du coup il y a beaucoup de vent qui s’infiltrait dans le couloir.

L’équipe de l’hôtel est très agréable, le seul défaut est un vrai problème d’insonorisation ( inexistante) on entend tout les bruits des autres chambres, couloirs, extérieurs… etc….

Wir hatten ein Zimmer zur Straße, dass war sehr laut. Da hätten wir gar nicht schlafen können. Zum Glück haben wir dann in der zweiten Nacht ein Zimmer zum Pool bekommen, dann war es auch noch nicht optimal, aber besser. Die Sauberkeit im Restaurant könnte auch noch verbessert werden. Das Personal im Restaurant und an der Reception war klasse. 👋👋 Sind immer auf Fragen eingegangen .

Great little hotel

My partner and I stayed for one week with our 5yr old son. Hotel was nice, staff all very friendly, smiley and happy to help. Pool was clean, room was clean apart from under beds. A lot of people seem to go all inclusive at this hotel, we went half board. This meant they use cheap soft drinks so you can't get a coca cola for example. Supermarket is very close though. Would be nice to make the pool bar into a bar you can sit at during the day instead of a serving counter as it is at the moment with table and chair seating only. Bar staff and kitchen staff very friendly. 5 minute walk to the beach, not the nicest of beaches but it was ok. Much better beaches around. 1€ per person to get bus into Rethimno. All in all we had a great stay and would recommend. Our only complaint was our bed was like concrete, our sons bed was better so uck of the draw I guess.

Nice boutique hotel - great location - 5 km from Rethymno. Nice rooms, quiet, helpful staff, amazing food offering. Nice pool area. The hotel does not have it's own beach, but it is 7 minutes walk from the property. Highly recommend.

Hôtel magnifique superbement décoré avec une incroyable piscine et le buffet pour les repas. Seuls bémols chambre très mal insonorisée j’entendais tout ce qui se passait dans le couloir et la climatisation au dessus de ma tête envoyait des jets d’eau. Il y a très peu de places pour se garer

Familiäre Hotelanlage

Die Hotelanlage ist zwar deutlich kleiner als auf den Fotos,was aber auch als Vorteil gesehen werden kann.Die Zimmer sind sauber und modern eingerichtet, Klimaanlage funktioniert. Die Lobby ist modern gestaltet, auf den Gängen und tw in den Zimmern sind immerwieder Rohre-da wird scheinbar noch etwas renoviert. Die Poolanlage ist top und bietet für die Anzahl der Gäste ausreichend Liegemöglichkeiten auch im Schatten. Im Garten gibt es außerdem ein Beachvolleyball Netz, Dartscheibe, Riesenschach und einen Tischtennistisch zur freien Benutzung. Der Strand ist ca 5min zu Fuß über eine kleine Straße erreichbar. Dort gibt es Liegen zum Mieten, aber auch die Möglichkeit einfach so am Strand zu liegen. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist mehr als ausreichend, man kann drinnen oder draußen genug Plätze finden. Abendessen kann man zb. in einer der 300m entfernten Tavernen oder 5min mit dem Auto entfernt in Rethymnon. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die freundliche Rezeption und die Möglichkeit am Abreisetag kostenfrei einen Umkleideraum incl Dusche benützen zu können. Super Service, wenn man nicht voller Sand und Salz im Flieger sitzen möchte!

Der Aufenthalt im May Hotel War sehr angenehm. Das Person sehr freundlich, die Chefin begrüßt jeden Gast persönlich und auch beim Abendessen geht Sie auf die Gäste zu und plaudert mit ihnen. Wirklich sehr freundliche Menschen, sehr bemüht. Das Hotel ist auch sehr sauber, auf Hygiene wird maximal geachtet. Zu den Mahlzeiten hat jeder Gast Handschuhe bekommen und ein MN Schutz musste bis zum Tisch und im Innenbereichen getragen werden. In Coronazeiten haben wir uns sehr sicher gefühlt. Parkplätze sind bei der Unterkunft direkt oder ein Haus weiter über die Straße kostenlos zur Verfügung gestanden. Zum Strand sind es ca. 200m ein leichter Fußweg. Die Liegen und Schirme sind kostenpflichtig am Strand. Schöner Pool, Liegen und Schirme am Pool gratis. Handtücher für Pool/Strand mit Kaution von 5€ Pro Person verfügbar. Das Geld haben wir dan am letzten Abend vor der Rückreise zurückbekommen, bei Rückgabe der Handtücher. Wir waren in einem Doppelzimmer mit Balkon zur Poolseite. Die Zimmer und das Bad sind ein bisschen klein, aber für einen 8 Tage Aufenthalt ok. Wir hatten Frühstück und Abendessen, das Frühstück war klassisch wie überall, Abendessen hat sich das Menü täglich gewechselt in Form von Buffet (Buffet auch Frühstück). Mir hat es geschmeckt, meinem Mann war das Abendessen nicht so.
