"It was a pleasant experience. The whole concept of the Ridge is a great idea. The atmosphere was very peacefully. I was traveling alone and was a little concerned at times. The other door that doesn’t lock was quite concerning. The water pressure and Wi-Fi were the only bad things I can say but in the scheme of things, compared to 1850 it was luxurious. I would stay again but not alone."

"We enjoyed our stay at Spy Hill house. It was a quick stop-over on a long drive and such a great option instead of a hotel room. Everything we needed was there. Good blend of historic plus modern comfort, close to the interstate but private with trees and the pond out back. We were grateful for a local restaurant that delivered pizza so we didn't have to go out again; we also ordered the breakfast basket and it was amazing! So much food - all of it delicious!"

"This property is so much better than it was a year or so ago when I last stayed here. During the last time I had made myself promise that I would never stay again. I forgot exactly where I was when I made the reservation for this visit and was so extremely surprised at how much better The entire place was. It is not in the easiest place to get to off of the main highway, but once you are checked in and in the room, it is clean. It is neat. It is very nice. "

"Zoe was the working the front desk the afternoon we checked in. She was wonderful, and after a long, rough day of traveling, it was refreshing to have the last leg of our trip go smoothly. The entire staff from the front desk, kitchen and housekeeping were very friendly and helpful whenever we needed something (coffee, extra blankets, etc.). This location was very close to my family, and I will absolutely stay here again when I come to visit."

"The hotel offered what i needed, a clean place to lay my head while visiting family in Stafford. Staff was kind and inclusive. They didn't mind us doing a spontaneous picnic or smoke a cigar on their lawn. I would stay again for holidays with Stafford family. A Wawa is very close and a great Mexican restaurant, Panco Villa, has great cocktails and food."
