The owners were fantastic, superbly accommodating with food after the restaurant had closed and with a lovely breakfast. "We stopped at the Chateau for 2 nights. It’s a charming place, furnished in keeping with the house. Was very comfortable and homely. Tim (one of the owners) gave us lots of information about where to visit. Breakfast was great, fresh bread, cheeses, meats, scrambled egg. We also enjoyed using the table tennis facility in the evening."

"On the website this 'hotel' looked lovely, but when we arrived we discovered that it was in fact a 'hostel' type hotel with the TV in a shared lounge/dining room with only two comfortable chairs. We got to our room through a shared not very clean 'kitchen' with all the other rooms coming off the shared 'kitchen'. It would have been a nightmare if anyone else was staying at the same time, but luckily we were the only ones staying the night (we wonder why?) so we didn't keep bumping into people...

"This beautiful property exceeded all our expectations and while the listing is accurate it does not really reflect how amazing this property is . Nestled away the property is like a hidden gem set in stunning and well maintained gardens which are a delight to walk around . The tennis court is an added bonus . Inside the house is beautifully maintained with fixtures and fittings in line with the grandeur this property deserves. We could not have asked for a better place to celebrate our friends...
