Great stay

Great stay for myself and friends. From the start father and son were so helpful and wow what a great chalet style place to stay.a spacious and comfortable area fantastic shower overall great and we will come back.

we was away for 11 day at different hotels and the cocoon inn was the best place we have every stayed we are already looking to stop there again next year pricing was very fair and staff very friendly and welcoming we was riding motorcycle and parking was behind locked gates and close to room rooms was to a high quality should be a four star

Good location, top service, great breakfast. We arrived and found out we had booked a lodge without airco. But we could imediately upgrade. To bad the Bar was only open untill 08.00pm. But you could order drinks to be delivered in your room to enjoy later on your terras.

Worth the trip

Lovely place, lovely people . Perfect location . Calming atmosphere. Thoughtful decor. Proprietor and his son really lovely. Just to note bar shuts at eight , restaurants close at Ten. To all the Fellow Irish and English travellers bring your own wine and no cabs so sadly you need a designated driver

Pleasant stay

We had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely consider returning if in the area. The inn is well-situated and there are a few restaurants nearby. The room was very pleasant although small. Water was provided. Check-in and out was very smooth and the hosts very hospitable. The breakfast was good with lots to choose from although we felt the bread was the same every day and became less fresh as the days went on, apart from a baguette which given the choice would have been the best thing to have each day - unfortunately everyone else seemingly thought this so that some days, with just one baguette available, there was little, or none left. We also felt that coffee, apparently available during the day was not actually available and there was no restaurant food in the evenings, despite being advertised on the website but there was a nice bar. The lack of restaurant may have been due to the time of year?

We loved our short stay at Cocoon Inn and highly recommend it. The welcome was warm and English is spoken well, if you aren’t trying out your dodgy French like I was. The place is recently renovated with modern fittings (includes USB sockets 🙂) and a super comfy bed. We slept really well. The location is on a coast route in Cucq with several restaurants nearby for dinner, including one excellent one right opposite. We opted for breakfast and it was very good - fruit, yoghurt, juices, pastries and breads, cereals, cheese and hams and even egg and bacon cooked freshly on request. The breakfast area is pleasant and you can sit outside if the weather is good. One point to note is that the standard bedrooms are quite small without a lot of space for bags. I think there are superior rooms which are larger. If this is important to you then maybe take care to book a larger room. We would return happily - it was a lovely stay. Thanks to our charming hosts.

C'était super, merci !

Cet hôtel est une super découverte pour ma part. Un très bon accueil, l'hôtel est propre et bien situé a quelques minutes seulement de la plage. Le petit-déjeuner est top avec un large choix. La chambre dispose de ce qu'il faut pour passer une bonne nuit et les lieux sont très calmes. A deux personnes la chambre simple peut-être un peu petite, mais sur la cote d'Opale le plus clair de votre temps sera à l'extérieur je l'espère ! A proximité de l'hôtel vous trouverez différents restaurants très sympas. C'était une première mais je reviendrai.
