"Bookings are orbits was extremely difficult especially since the property was through verbo I had to constantly call verbo to get my information since I wasn't a member of orbits the whole situation was extremely difficult That being said I will deal directly with the people who are the property management from here on out The place was lovely It was beautiful and it was for my anniversary so that was special but the in between stage finally getting all of the information was extremely difficult"

"We absolutely loved staying at this beautiful home overlooking the bay, the beach and the dunes in the distance. Absolutely stunning views from all angles of the house; the pelicans dive-bombing nightly was a new site for all of us and we spent hours gazing at the horizon. The rooms were perfect for our group and everything was spotless! We were very lucky to have snagged this gem at the last minute, I see it is already booked for next year Memorial Day, or we would have booked...

"Great location to stay at in Winchester Bay. Very basic rooms, but fits our needs perfectly"

"Liked the location near the water and two grocery stores across the parking lot. Enjoyable walking after a day’s travel. Though we didn’t use it we had a patio with two chairs and a small table where you could sit and look out at the water. A glitch on check in caused a duplicate pending charge on my credit card. Ultimately fixed. Employees were helpful and very pleasant."

"There is no a/c at this property but front desk had a box fan we used. Room very hot upon check-in. There are no windows to open - just a slider onto the balcony. These need screens so the room can cool off. We had that open and the door to the room open to cool it off. Room was clean and sunset from the balcony was amazing. Restaurant was good. Laundry facilities need cleaning and elevator needs a new floor. Staff was great."

"Our upstairs balcony room was exquisite! It is literally on the Siuslaw River! The view was beautiful with the fog rolling in in the morning and night and then burning off during the day. The historic Siuslaw Bridge is practically a stone's throw away. With that, though, comes the humming of the cars. Even with everything shut, we could still hear a strange sound, which I thought was a ghost. I even made my husband go outside to see what it was. That's when we realized it was the vehicles driving across the metal grates of the draw bridge! Hence there was conveniently a sound/white noise machine placed by the bed. It was lovely to wake up and open the sliding glass doors to see fishermen heading out in their boats and sea otters playing. The breakfast room is small but clean. My husband especially liked the automatic pancake machine! There is also free coffee and tea in the quiant reception area. The ice machine is also conveniently located right outside. There is no elevator, so that is something to consider if you need physical assistance. The hotel is located in the walkable downtown district with cute shops, art galleries, and restaurants. The Wyndham beds and pillows were oh so comfortable, and the best perk of all was the FREE parking!"

"Once again, the crab shack was an amazing experience..I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay..The owners are thoughtful and accommodating This is going to become my home away from home during the fishing season!!"

"We enjoyed our stay here. We loved the ride in/ride out access to the dunes! The view is stunning! If the weather had been better we would have had an incredible sunset. Everyone was comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. Our only issue was having enough hot water for everyone’s showers- but we had several teenagers with us and that could also have impacted that :) We would stay here again!"
