Very clean, cozy and lot of warmth. I loved the decor room. Staff super nice and checking was contactless and super fast with lot of guides with just a click on your phone to lot of informations in regards to the hotel, the city, food etc.

This is a charming getaway secluded around a beautiful lake. I stayed in Merlot Manor and the room was decorated with so much detail & character. Also the view was incredible!

Staff was so welcoming and friendly. Our room had a designer's touch - modern yet comfortable with many thoughtful extras. The kitchen had everything I needed; all stored and presented skillfully. And, our small dog loved being walked through the grass and by the lake. We even saw five deer!

Unique Stay on the Coast

Such a unique addition to options on the coast. In a sea of predictable and tired lodging options, this lovely renovated collections of cabins showcases creativity and friendly hosts. The service was wonderful and the views were unmatched. It would have been worth it just to visit for the Siltcoos River trail. We didn't even know it existed until the receptionist suggested taking Kayaks out to explore. Can't wait to go back

I’m so sad I only stayed here for one night. This place is magical. The property was gorgeous, and the stars…omg the stars! Could see the Milky Way. Had a great time meeting other guests by the fire pit. And Missy was an incredible host, she really put in such great effort for every guest to feel welcomed and cared for. Her attention to detail was awesome. I can’t wait to recommend this place to all my friends - it’s a must stop if you’re on the Oregon coast near Florence. Just do yourself a favor and stay for more than just one night!

Quiet and peaceful. Nice view of the lake. Walls were a bit thin and we could hear the couple in the next room arguing late at night. Also the keycode for the door lock did not work but the owner came and reset it so we were able to get in. It is a bit off the main drag, but that is what made it quiet (except for the neighbors). We would stay there again.

Very clean, easy check in, delightful decor! Shower floor is a bit slippery, curtains are difficult to move and don’t cover the huge windows if you want to sleep in. If you want to be woke by the strong morning sun in your face then it’s fine, also VERY strong air freshener- just not a fan ( had to put in the other room). Overall would definitely recommend! Wish we could have stayed longer and check out the lake, we were there only one night.

A Wonderful Weekend Getaway at the Florentine Waterfront Hotel I had the pleasure of staying at the Florentine Waterfront Hotel with my daughter this past Friday and Saturday, and we had a truly memorable experience. We stayed in the Sage Room, which was beautifully renovated—elegant, comfortable, and full of charm. The attention to detail throughout the property is impressive and really enhances the relaxing atmosphere. Check-in was smooth and welcoming, and we greatly appreciated being allowed a late check-out, which gave us some extra time to enjoy our final morning. One of the highlights of our stay was renting kayaks directly from the hotel. We went on an unforgettable excursion across the lake and down the river—it was a peaceful and scenic adventure we’ll always remember. I highly recommend the Florentine Waterfront Hotel to anyone looking for a serene and beautifully maintained getaway spot. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Great stay with amazing lake view

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the newly renovated Merlot Room cabin. The cabin was clean and well appointed. Kitchen had all the basics you would be looking for. Access was easy and contactless. There was the main room with a murphy style bed and a second bedroom. We were slightly worried the murphy bed might not be comfortable, but we wanted to stay in the main room to soak up the amazing view of the lake. Turned out the bed was very comfortable and we had a great night of sleep. As others have said, can't beat waking up to the view of the lake. The contact we had with the hotel was very responsive and they quickly helped with a couple of questions. They are renovating additional cabins on same road and all with have very nice views. We rented a side by side the next day with Torex - we highly recommend them for taking a ride on the sand dunes!

The standout features of The Florentine Waterfront Hotel are absolutely the warm, attentive staff and the stunning view. From the moment we booked, Katie went above and beyond with communication, making the experience feel personal and welcoming—something you don’t always get at larger hotels. If you're planning a trip to Dune City, this is a great spot to stop. They even have a partnership with a local ATV rental company that offers a discount, so be sure to ask about that before booking on your own. We stayed in the Vanilla Villa, and the view was spectacular—truly a highlight of our stay. The room came with a full kitchen, which is a great perk if you’re looking to save money and cook your own meals. While my husband found the room a bit stuffy, we were both impressed with how clean and well-kept everything was. The vibe leans more toward glamping/cabin than a traditional hotel, so it helps to go in with that expectation. All in all, it was one of the better places we stayed on our West Coast road trip. It’s clear that this family-owned hotel genuinely cares about its guests.
