"The property was as described, beautiful and serene. The hike up from the road is steep, so be prepared if you have firewood or heavy bags. The cabin was very nice with clean sheets and more pots and pans than I expected to find. The hand pump for non-potable water was convenient and the cooler worked well for our food. My only critiques come from the dog poop bag at the base of the entry stairs and the bag of trash that was left behind the door that were there upon our arrival. It seemed that the cleaning staff had forgotten to grab them as they left, but it wasn’t a big deal to me, just a little off putting. There was a big party at the house down the hill that was insanely loud when we arrived on the property, but it was shut down before it was too late. I was surprised that the level of noise was allowed at all, but pleased that it was put to rest before it got late. Overall, I would recommend this property to anyone who wants a slightly off-grid experience that is convenient to any area down in the gorge. Very nice cabin and excellent overall experience. "
