This hotel truly rescued our birthday trip after a rough experience elsewhere. We arrived late, but the staff were gracious and immediately let us check in without hesitation. Every team member we met was warm, friendly, and attentive—offering smiles and helpfulness whether we passed through the lobby midday or grabbed a snack after midnight.
Our room was spacious and spotless, much larger and cleaner than our previous hotel, and at a better price. The beds were well made, the bathroom was immaculate every day, and you could feel the care in every detail. From our very first interaction to our last goodbye, the hospitality was outstanding.
What really stood out was how genuinely empathetic and accommodating everyone was; even though our earlier travel issues had nothing to do with them, they made us feel appreciated and cared for. The clear communication at check-in, welcoming environment at all hours, and overall warmth transformed our stay into a wonderful memory. Without question, I look forward to returning and highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking comfort and true hospitality."
"I've been staying at this hotel since 2016. I love the location, the cleanliness. They've done some upgrades! It's always quiet and comfortable. I miss the complimentary beverage they used to have at the front desk. 1 year was apple cider and it was probably the best apple cider I ever had. :) This place is always my first recommendation for anyone thinking to visit, especially if you're thinking of visiting the Salem events in October. "Me and my family stayed here without pets although it is pet friendly. Overall the home is located in a decent area but it is a busy road. The rental has an attached apartment that was in use and where the owner was found our first night. The owner was really responsive which was great because we had issues with locking and unlocking the property a few times. I would say this rental was being updated because some lights worked and others didn't. There was no central ac but there were portable units which was great because we all sleep hot. The rooms were pretty decent sizes and the beds were comfy. There is only one bathroom and the drains for the sink and tub were slow to drain. The really true complaint I had was that it smelled of cigarette smoke. We could figure out if someone prior to us smoked or if it was coming from the tenant in the apartment. Overall, I gave this rental a 4 because it is in pretty close proximity to Salem, we had no issues with ubers or food deliveries, and the owner responded every time we had a questions. "
