"No one at front desk—a man arrived but did not speak English; we thought he was a guest but he called someone on his cell phone and handed it to me—a woman spoke with me briefly and then the man showed us to our room. Old refrigerator; door did not close, freezer was full of frost. Very few patrons; good because cheap hollow core doors shut very loudly and marble floors very noisy. We could hear two people arguing on higher floor. 3 min walk to nice beach with an attendant bringing drinks. ...

The area was really quiet allowing us to relax with no worries. Only 500 metres to Melissani lake/cave also a bonus. Coastal path into Sami took around 25-30 mins at a leisurely pace. "Great place to start off our honeymoon! Easy access to beach with beautiful clear blue waters. Everyone was so kind and helpful. It was very calm and relaxing which is exactly what we wanted before traveling to the busy island of Santorini. Our pool was amazing, it was a little chilly so be aware if you’re looking to book in May the pools are not heated. Definitely recommend renting a car to drive into the capital town of Argostoli, it was like a 10 minute drive. Such a cheaper alternative...
