The holiday resort of Rangersdorf is located at 864 meters altitude, not far from the Italian border in the popular Mölltal holiday region in Carinthia's Hohe Tauern National Park.

The 4 ski areas in the region (Grossglockner/Heiligenblutt, Mölltal Glacier, Ankogel/Mallnitz and the family ski area Emberger Alm) guarantee absolute snow safety with more than 150 kilometers of pistes! The south-facing Zettersfeld ski area near Lienz in East Tyrol, at an altitude of 2,278 meters and with fantastic views of the Dolomites, offers over 20 kilometers of slopes. All these ski resorts can be reached in 20-30 minutes by car. There is also a wide range of winter activities outside the ski slopes, with ski trails, several toboggan runs and hiking and snowshoeing routes.

Carinthia's National Park Hohe Tauern region is also the perfect place for an active summer holiday.
