"Rented 3 rooms for 6 people. The rooms were comfortable and well outfitted. Not super fond of the quarter-circle doors in the shower but they worked. The breakfast and breakfast staff were excellent, as were the desk and bar staff. Really friendly people. Lovely place"

"The location is stunning, and especially wonderful if you are exploring the Iceland southern coast. There is no staff on site. The staff were not especially responsive. We stayed at multiple other hotels that contacted us as our check in approached (a day or two in advance). We had read that the staff at Lambafell were hard to reach, so I messaged the day before, and got no response. And then the morning of our check in, with no response. We finally received a message with check in instructions a few hours before check in. It would be much appreciated if the staff were more responsive to messages. The room was small but clean and charming. The breakfast was solid."

"Amazing view and restaurant on side was really good, stuff and everything was top top! wish it worked until 12am though, had to rash to get there for last minute booking. But this is a problem in general that all groceries and restaurants close way too early."

"Les parois du dôme n’avait pas de condensation malgré la pluie. Cafetière et réfrigérateur sur place dans le dôme avec toilette. On a adoré même si c’était nuageux!"

"We stayed many places between $200-500/night range throughout Iceland and this was by far the nicest. It is far from town (good thing for some ppl, bad for others maybe). The whole hotel even smelled lovely. Large rooms, it was warm at first but they provided a fan we placed by the window and it cooled off nicely. Firm but extremely comfortable bed, perfect soft pillows and nice duvet. The breakfast was also maybe the best hotel breakfast we had in Iceland. One of the few places I would stay again out of 10 hotels we used!! I only wish they would not charge for the hot tub (which appeared quite small)"

"Excellent for families with kids! The kitchen is equipped with literally anything you might need, we appreciated the heating pads on the beds, cozy tents and beautiful outdoors."

"We arrived after 22:00 so used the self check in which worked fine. The room was basic, but a bit warm. The bathroom had no place to store toiletries, it was large enough so maybe a table could be added. The breakfast was typical, and I enjoyed the fresh grainy bread. The two pillows were lovely, so thank you for that nice touch."

"The breakfast was a mix of food unique to Iceland and also common enough for the picky eater. We loved it! The vibe was so different from American hotels which was also why we loved it so much. This was the classic cozy, peaceful experience we needed :)) I recommend this place! "
