Hotel is new, everything is clean and fresh. The location isn’t bad, there’s a kronan right there. The hotel lobby and vibe is 5 stars, the rooms are 4 stars. One of the best hotels during my time in Iceland

The staff at Hotel Loa were amazing and were able to cater to all our needs. Our room was immaculate and a lovely view over the surrounding fields to the back when the sun made an appearance. The bar and restaurant at the hotel were great after a full day of exploring the South coast.

This is a brand new building, that needs a couple little tune-ups as they go. The bed was the most comfortable we had, the breakfast was amazing, and the staff (especially Alicia at the front) was very good. We would definitely stay here again.

Instead of hopping from hotel to hotel we decided to stay in one hotel and do all the sightseeing from there. Hotel Loa is located very central in the South path. Right on highway. Good breakfast, friendly staff and comfortable beds. Would definitely recommend.

This was for our first night in Iceland and what a welcome. Brand new hotel, very clean. Excellent service on every front, from check-in, dining, room cleanliness, all the way to check out. Breakfast was perfect with a lot of variety.

Hotel Loa is as great as all the previous reviews promised. The staff is very friendly and the hotel is lovely. They made it very easy to upgrade to a suite though we had prepaid for a triple room, and it was perfect to have the pullout sofa for our son in an open but separate room. The beds were very comfortable, the bathroom was spacious, lovely and modern. The lobby and bar have a nice, cozy loungey feel, with decent music playing. The bar had a good selection. Overall it was an excellent spot to break up a two day drive away from Reykjavik. I would absolutely stay there again!

This hotel looks brand new, as if it opened yesterday. Very clean, modern rooms, very good buffet for breakfast, and surprisingly good dinner. Right next to the N1 station where tour busses pick you up. Great location to set a base for exploring the south coast.
