"We loved our stay on the lake! The booklet with recommendations were awesome for us never having been to this area! Fox Lake and Beaver Dam were both cool towns to explore! We loved being right on the water, fishing off the dock and enjoying some time out on the kayaks that were provided in the boathouse. Also in the boathouse were a ton of yard games our family had a lot of fun with. We also loved just hanging out around the fire or watching one of the many movies they had. We hope to be back!"

"There are some rentals where they give you barely enough (i.e. 3 towels, 12 knives, 4 spoons, and 1 fork) but that is NOT this rental. This rental seriously has MORE than ANYTHING you could need. We appreciated the abundance of towels/washcloths, eating utensils, outdoor seating, etc. The owner shares the duplex and should anything go wrong, I am confident she would make it right. She is a delightful person and wants to make sure your visit is more than you expect. She is very accommodating...

"The home is beautiful and well laid out for a big group oh adults or larger families. There are beautiful lake views from the house and a lovely bench on the dock to enjoy the lake. The kitchen and common area are ideal for gathering a large group. The weather turned cooler but we enjoyed lovely fires and snuggled up and enjoyed the fall weather and the changing colors of the trees. We saw a few bald eagles. The comfort of the cottage along with cozy Adirondack chairs and a nice gas fire pit overlooking the lake make it perfect for relaxing evenings. "Overall this property was ok. Our biggest complaints are that after multiple messages, texts & phone calls, we never were able to get a hold of the property manager. We had questions throughout our stay, and a jacket was accidentally left by one of our kids & we cannot get a hold of anyone to try & recover it. This is disappointing! We even called VRBO customer service w to attempt to reach them & they were no help at all either. Second, there are ZERO window coverings, even in the bedrooms....

"The house had everything we needed for a week stay. Lots of games in the basement for kids to play. Kayaks and paddle boat were great for the kids when the weather was nice. We caught lots of fish both off the dock and out on the lake. I will say the lake is over run with catfish, but we caught lots of crappie too. Will definitely consider coming back in a few years when my niece graduates. Thanks for letting us stay!"

"This is an older property just off of I-90 that is clean, quiet and perfect for a fun or business stop over. It offers a breakfast that includes "scrambled eggs", sausage, and potatoes. While not gourmet, it is fine. The hotel also offers apples, yogurt, coffee and the required sugar cereals. As for the room, it was clean and spacious, but also a little dated (1990s maybe early 2000s). The check-in was handled professionally and quickly. The cleaning staff was professional too. When I went to check out no one was at the front desk and was unable to break a bill to leave the cleaning staff a tip."
