We 4 (2 adults, 2 teens) stopped here on our way to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area. Adequate lodging. Clean room. Quiet AC. Good shower. Very helpful staff. Average breakfast bar. For the price,it is quite good. No complaints.

My wife and I spent one night at Super 8 by Wyndham Portage on our way home. We really enjoyed our stay because our room was exceptionally clean and tidy. I left my expensive hiking shoes behind in a rush of checking out. Several hours later I called and told the staff I left them by accident and I was told that the cleaning staff usually tosses what is left behind or they steal it and don’t give it to the front desk and lie about taking the items left behind.
