"Awful experience!!! My husband and I checked in at DoubleTree by Hilton Chengdu - Longquanyi on 9 June. While we were using the lift from 21th floor to Ground floor lobby at night, suddenly the lift(p1) dropped to 14th floor, then dropped to 13th floor again and stopped there. We were stuck in the lift for roughly around 40 minutes. During the period of stuck inside the lift, we both felt unwell and we fearful of our lives, experiencing incomparable pain. "Decent hotel after all. Has underground tunnel access (take elevator to B1) to the subway station. Rooms were pretty comfy. Negatives are that the AC appeared to be limited at night to around 23 Celsius or so and the room got pretty humid. Also, the toilet has a weird smell."

"The property is pretty new. No onsite gym. Has a good sized lounge on the first floor right next to the dining area. "Great modern hotel, clean and quiet. Breakfast is excellent. Subway is easily accessed from basement, and is 5 stops to the railway station. Hotel allows smoking - my room smelt of smoke and had an ashtray : they told me it was a non smoking room which is what I booked. They did move me on the second day of my stay, and the second room didn’t smell. "
