"The property is pretty new.
No onsite gym.
Has a good sized lounge on the first floor right next to the dining area.
Daily complementary breakfast: a mixture of non-authentic western style and authentic Chinese style:) Quality is good!
Onsite self-service washer and dryer.
Unfortunately, I stayed in two rooms; in both of their bathrooms, there was a strong sewage smell.

My husband and I checked in at DoubleTree by Hilton Chengdu - Longquanyi on 9 June. While we were using the lift from 21th floor to Ground floor lobby at night, suddenly the lift(p1) dropped to 14th floor, then dropped to 13th floor again and stopped there. We were stuck in the lift for roughly around 40 minutes. During the period of stuck inside the lift, we both felt unwell and we fearful of our lives, experiencing incomparable pain.

"Decent hotel after all. Has underground tunnel access (take elevator to B1) to the subway station. Rooms were pretty comfy. Negatives are that the AC appeared to be limited at night to around 23 Celsius or so and the room got pretty humid. Also, the toilet has a weird smell."

"Everything was great, the room, the properties around the area, there is 2 convenience stores, a cafe and a restaurant just below the hotel. The room we had a washing machine which my friend used multiple times, the refreshing of the rooms are great too, although the only minor thing i would like to comment is there is no ramp around the hotel, so it was kinda inconvenient to bring up and down my luggages luckily i wasnt alone, the lobby in the first floor is a bit too hot as well. Other than those everything is still great"

The modern Luxury style as shown in the photos and the location of this hotel with the metro being a few meters away appeal to me and it truly befits the premium Fairmont brand
it is the staff that have made my recent 6 day stay so memorable. Each mender of the team that I have met was friendly, welcoming and no request was to difficult In particular want to mention the outstanding service offered by the Gold l lounge team Evelyn, June, Mia and Donna They went way and above their duty to ensure that my Vegetarian dietary need where met.
Also want to mention he Front desk team Adam and Jeanne for also providing and exceptional service that always welcoming and friendly

"Great stay with Waldorf! It has a big mall beside that meets all basic food needs. Special mention to Miya, who often superb recommendation and check in with us regularly during our stay.
Only downside is the location of the hotel which is slightly far out from downtown but it not an issue with didi easily available. "
"Beautiful place. Amazing food. Gorgeous staff (women and men alike) and all are kind and respectful and clean and helpful. All have translation apps and try genuinely their best to communicate in English with me without sounding like it's a chore.
One recommendation I would add is clear restaurant sifns\brands labels with map guide with "you are here" markers\checkpoints. I spent hours trying to find the entrance to the cafe and Italian Bistro after already trying the 5th floor restaurants. And the hotel is huge. If there was supposed to be a trail outside, o couldn't find it due to lack of signs. But i am only nitpicking because I needed any excuse to enjoy the lazy 5 star life instead of walking around :)"
