Cozy Cottage steps from Rainbow Bay Beach; Tennis

This charming hillside home is located in Rainbow Bay, directly across from the beautiful & secluded Rainbow Bay beach, Eleuthera. This private and fully furnished 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom cottage is situated on 1/3 acre of land surrounded by lush and mature island vegetation with beautiful sea views from the large verandah. The cottage has central air-conditioning and satellite TV, landline phone, very fast Starlink WIFI, a cozy living room, dine-in kitchen, dishwasher, charcoal grill, and an outdoor shower. The master bedroom has a queen bed. The guest bedroom has twin beds which can be converted to a king bed.

Key Lime Cottage is ideal for families, couples and honeymooners, and is situated literally across the small road (a minute's walk) from Rainbow Bay's private beach. The beach itself offers sparkling white sand and crystal clear azure waters perfect for shelling, snorkeling and fishing and is a naturally protected cove. Convenient picnic benches, secluded tiki huts on the beach are included as part of the rental. Rainbow Bay also has a private tennis court.

Rainbow Bay offers one of the best snorkeling spots on the island. From the above pictures you can see a small peninsula which juts out into the Caribbean. It is home to many of the island's tropical fish and rays. If you are a snorkeler, you will not be disappointed. From Key Lime cottage, you also have easy access to the Atlantic Ocean beaches.

It is just a mile to the acclaimed Rainbow Inn, which offers some of the best food on the island and live music many evenings. The nearest market for supplies is located just a few minutes away by car if you choose to cook at home in the fully-equipped kitchen. There is also now an organic vegetable farm five minutes to the north from the villa.

Centrally located on Eleuthera, Key Lime cottage is the is the perfect location for exploring the whole island north to south, from Harbor Island to Lighthouse Point, 100 miles of beaches, beauty and history. It is only 15 minutes from Governor's Harbor airport and 25 minutes from Governor's Harbor.

Eleuthera is a very friendly and safe island. It is a beautiful, relaxed destination with turquoise seas, and beautiful sunny weather. Once you come, you will definitely want to return.

Amazing!

Beautiful cottage, all the amenities you need, lots of useful beach items (towels, chairs, cooler bag), and 90 seconda away from one of the most beautiful beaches on the island.

Comfortable, good location

We spent a week here as a family with 2 kids and loved the cottage (and Eleuthera). Spaceous appartment, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, well equipped with all we could need, plus fins, deck chairs, hammock, and just steps away from beautiful Rainbow Beach, always good for a dip in the morning or evening. From here all of North and Central Eleuthera is easily reachable. One of the books at the cottage was very valuable: A catalogue of beaches on Eleuthera provided us with many ideas, and the feeling we would need to come back to see the other 120 beaches ;-)

Paradise in Eleuthera.

Cottage is exactly as described. Just steps away from breathtaking Rainbow Beach. Owners were very quick to respond to our emails. Cottage is spotless. A very special thank you to Brenda and Lisa for making our stay so enjoyable.

Paradise!

We were looking for a house that was close to the beach with all the boxes checked. Key Lime Cottage did not disappoint. With the beautiful Rainbow Bay beach just across the street and the central location it was the perfect pick! The house was clean and had everything we needed. The communication with the owners was excellent.

We spent a ton of time on Rainbow beach which was just steps away. The cottage was extremely comfortable and came equipped with everything and more!! Sarah and Brenda were responsive and so easy to reach. The place was spotless. Rainbow bay in general is the perfect location to enjoy the neighbourhood and the island. You cannot go wrong with rental. Don’t hesitate to choose Key Lime cottage.

Short visit to key lime house

It was a nice place. Across from the beach is convenient too. Just about everything you need for a comfortable visit. AC worked well. I would certainly recommend the place. I was ok with the bed but my said she was not comfortable in it at all. Only issues they need to address is they really need a set of new sharp knives and a sink stop that works. Also the TV was not working at all . We had to stream online on our devices the whole trip.

Island oasis

This was our second trip to stay at Key Lime cottage...Nice Central location and right across the street from the best beach on the island..This unit comes with everything you will need.. It has a front deck that has a partial cover and is great for hanging out..Very few neighbors at this location , so its pretty peaceful..Down the Queens highway is stores big rock and east/final for food items and places to eat.. We at at Mels and got some food on the weekend from Brendas/Billys BBQ..Make sure you stop by Glass bridge bar&grill for one of the best views and the best conch fritters I have ever had...You might even see a stingray cruising around the bay...Caretakers Brenda and her daughter Lisa, were always helpful in answering our questions and sharing knowledge about island stuff...Yes, gasoline was 6.24 a gallon and food is expensive, but eating out was pretty reasonable..We love this island for the quiet beauty there.. No fast food places, Starbucks or condos lining every beach..You might just be the only one on the beach.. We would stay here again on our next trip...

The master bed is very hard, but I made it work. Plenty of linens & beach supplies.

Beautiful calm and clean beach with snorkeling off the point. Less than a minute walk to the beach. AC works well in each room. Kitchen well stocks with cooking pots and pans. Located about 15 mins from GHB. Great location to explore both North and South Eleuthera. Rental Car is a must. Plenty of beach and bath towels. Bring shampoo and buy any kitchen staples and coffee.

The house and location are absolutely perfect in every way. The house is so clean and roomy with two bedrooms, two bathroom's, a great room that includes a large living room, a spacious fully equipped kitchen, with a high top dining table and chairs with french doors that open up to a large front porch balcony with a view of the ocean just beyond the lush greenery.The house is completely surrounded with thick, tropical landscaping giving it complete privacy and it is so quiet and peaceful. The house has central air conditioning and is completely furnished and includes plenty of towels, sheets, hairdryers, beach supplies and the kitchen is fully equipped and has a large refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, blender and a stackable washer and dryer. The house was also supplied with two 5 gallon jugs of drinking water and some charcoal for the outdoor barbecue grill. The house also has a hose at the side of the house for cleaning up after the beach.The caretaker, Brenda had the house so clean and fresh smelling and had placed freshly cut hot pink Bougainvillea flowers in every room of the house. Shortly after I arrived, Brenda came over to check in on me and make sure I had everything I needed. She was so sweet and pleasant and said that she would be available for any of my needs.I absolutely love the location of the house. It is just a one minute walk to the beautiful and peaceful Rainbow Beach which is located on the calm Caribbean side of the island and it turned out to be one of my favorite beaches on the island. The beautiful aqua blue water is so calm and it is as clean and clear as swimming pool water and it is one of the best snorkeling spots on the island with colorful reefs and plenty of fish and sea creatures to see.The north central location of the house is excellent for exploring the island and it has stores and restau

Lovely cottage in Rainbow Bay

The neighborhood is nice, complete with amazing bay, tennis court, and easy access to the Rainbow Inn. We loved snorkeling at Rainbow Bay as well as the incredible sunsets from the beach. We used this stay to explore points north and especially enjoyed spending time at the newly renovated Cove for a day. The house has everything you need down to the last thoughtful detail such as 5-gallon drinking water jug, plastic wrap, band-aids, beach inflatables and guide books. We used many and appreciated all of these nice touches.

Cozy cottage

Even though there were a few hicups, the stay was nice. Plenty of towels, snorkling gear, floats, I left some new ones in pkgs. Parking was not the best. I would stay there again or reccomend it to someone else.
