"Very welcoming reception staff who were very helpful. Room was a nice size for the 2 of us & bed very comfortable. Plenty to choose from at breakfast. Would stay again"

"Reading previous reviews I was worried our stay would not be a positive one. I need not have worried. Yes the hotel was basic and tired looking but the bedding, towels and bathroom facilities were spotless and the staff super helpful offering advice where to eat, adjusting our bed from a double to two singles and talking us through the door locking process. I can see how the room would be hot in the summer as the windows were fixed but there was an air conditioner unit in our room to address this. If you want a cheap one night stay in a great location this is absolutely fine."

"Cold in the manor part need heating on in cellar bar and pad bar, the pool needs a good clean black areas on pool tiles and around rails not enough loungers showers out of order in pool area one of the tapas dishes was really cold and should of been warm maids very noisy outside room at 8.30 knocked on door 9.30 however they were all minor issues and we enjoyed our stay pad Thai food really good, a pint of lager is £7.75, staff lovely good entertainment in evening we will come back"

The hotel itself is very grand and is kept very clean and tidy … it’s just a little dated and tired in places. We as a family recommend and we could also take our dog which was great."
