"I’ve actually stayed here before and it was around the Christmas holiday several years ago. This time I was on the seventh floor and I really enjoyed the view. The sunrise on Christmas morning was spectacular. The room was clean and very spacious. The fact that I got upgraded to a two bedroom suite was the icing on the cake!
I had invited my daughter and her three children over for Christmas Eve dinner and it was so nice to be able to cook food and serve food for everyone without being cramped or crowded.
It was just wonderful and I look forward to doing that perhaps for Christmas 2026 as well !!"

"The hosts were very welcoming. We enjoy the coast but not much for the sandy beaches so this was the perfect place for us. The covered porch overlooking the sound was fantastic! Our 2 dogs enjoyed it as much as we did. Enjoyed listening to the water lapping up on the retaining wall of rocks and the breeze was wonderful. My husband enjoyed fishing from the dock. I loved stargazing from the dock. The cottage was decorated wonderfully and was so comfortable. We stayed 4 nights and enjoyed every second of it and want to book again in the future. Truly a special and magical place. "

"This is a beautiful, well-appointed property. The owners were helpful and responsive, and we were treated like old friends. They had great recommendations for activities and dining options. The town of Oriental is quaint and has fun places to go, most within walking distance. The ocean is an hour away. Will definitely stay again!"
