"To be honest, the only reason I wouldn’t leave a great review is to keep this place a better kept secret. This hotel is a gem. It’s a fantastic place to serve as home base while exploring the village and island. The rooms are immaculate and well thought out, with an incredibly comfortable bed and bedding (including the soft and heavy waffle throw), ice cold air conditioning and a dehumidifier for those humid Carolina days, and a great shower with high pressure. The staff was friendly and helpful in the best way. The hotel is centrally located (there may not be a better place location-wise) and they have bikes you can check out as well as beach chairs, beach coolers, and beach towels. We can’t wait to go back many times."

"Lovely quiet house overlooking Core Sound and the Banks. Lots of bird life to enjoy. Bring a pair of binoculars to see the dunes across the sound better. Close to Cedar Island beach for walks, floating, and a chance to see the feral cows and wild horses. The Davis ferry over to Core Banks is nearby and Harkers Island is about 20 min away. The house is clean, well furnished and has a washer and dryer as well. Kim and Sam were very responsive to assorted questions that we had. We will be back next year!"

"This was an awesome little house ! It was clean and spacious. Ac was nice and cold which is a must for Ocracoke humidity ! Hosts responded to messages promptly and when we rented our golf cart from them it was delivered to the driveway and was less expensive than other services on the island . (Golf carts are definitely way to putt around the island ) would definitely book from them again if the need arises. Thanks again for the wonderful time renting from you all. "

"This was a great family home on a large lot, offering privacy and a small town feel but not too far from all the sites. Very clean and plenty of space for everyone to hang out comfortably together. Billy was a fantastic communicator and made sure we were well prepared for a great vacation!"
