"Another wonderful stay at one of our favorite rentals. Richard is always so welcoming and helpful, which makes coming back feel easy and special. The cottage has everything you need, so we can simply settle in, fish, and unwind — and it’s especially nice that we can bring our dog.The fishing was excellent — flounder, sharks, skate, croaker, spot, and more. Dolphins are a familiar sight on Core Sound, and this time a sea turtle was hanging around as well.If you want a day trip, the Cedar Island ferry to Ocracoke is always a good option. And if you need anything, there’s a general store and gas station on Cedar Island that carries a little of everything. Thank you once again for this lovely cottage and the memories we made here."

"Russ and Ellen communicated with efficacy and the place and house was perfect for our family to enjoy Ocracoke. Love the convenience to everything around and the rental of their Golf cart to come and go with ease!!! For the amount of room and price, we would definitely stay again in the future!"
