"Acorn Lodge was a great place for us to stay to visit a friend in Aldeburgh, eat out at The Lighthouse and The Regatta and to enjoy a day full of companionable relaxation in the countryside. My friend has mobility issues and the Lodge proved to be excellent accommodation for her need. Pristine facilities, thorough cleanliness and thoughtful little extras made this stay memorable for us."

"Comfortable room with excellent tea making supplies - and a good sized mug each! The floor fan was useful as it was very warm. The hotel kindly allowed a later check out with a prompt and polite response to our request. Check in was efficient and simple. The evening meal was superb - great value and the pavlova! Wow! Chef’s kiss! All in all - a beautiful historic building and a really enjoyable stay. We will return I am sure. "
