Our second visit to the studio this time in winter.
Our second visit to the studio this time in winter. A warm comfortable room for 2 in a quite rural location close to the A12 for easy access to Suffork and the beautiful coast and RSPB Minsmere.
The property was perfectly clean, warm, comfortable, easy, wonderful shower, great location with great open country. I loved it.

I had a fabulous week with my dog, Trevor. I met Robin a couple of times and he is very friendly and approachable and as it was just me and the dog it was reassuring that he and his wife were very close in the house next door. Lots of local places to visit or not too far by car. The studio was lovely and comfy with everything you need. Beautiful at night if it’s a clear sky with loads of stars. Very peaceful if you just want some time to chill. Robin and his wife left a nice bottle of wine, biscuits for me and treats for Trev which was a lovely touch. Highly recommend.

It’s a very good spot.
It’s a very good spot. Nice and quiet with lots of good walks, the sea, good pubs, good food. All in all, a very nice holiday place. The facilities are very good. The bed is very comfortable. The kitchen very well equipped. And the little patio good to keep a dog safe and sound.
Fantastic accommodation. We stayed for a week and could have stayed longer. Robin was a wonderful host and the property was lovely. There was a great games room with pool, table tennis, table football etc. a good library if dvds if needed, we didn’t as the weather was amazing. It’s secluded and so quiet with two wonderful beaches within 5 minutes drive. Larger towns aren’t far away either so the location is just right. The property doesn’t have WiFi so if you are a tech person be prepared to use your mobile data, again it didn’t bother us. Highly recommend.

As 80 year olds we have just spent 5 days in The Studio, enjoying a belated short holiday after lockdown. It was very cosy and warm on arrival and we appreciated the bottle of wine and lovely biscuits left as a welcome gift. The cottage was very comfortable and the kitchen adequately equipped given the COVID restrictions. Under the circumstances we brought all our food with us and cooked for ourselves but there were plenty of very nice looking pubs which in normal times we would have visited for some meals. We slept very well in the king-sized bed and enjoyed being wakened in the morning by the pheasants tapping on the patio door. The shower was excellent but we found the wet room rather a challenge compared with a shower cubicle. It did, however, provide a wonderful drying room when we got caught in a hailstorm walking along the beach. We enjoyed several walks in Dunwich Forest and on the Suffolk Coast path, feeling safe in a beautiful quiet environment. The lack of WiFi wasn’t really a problem except for accurate weather forecasts and we found that we could access 4G in the cottage carpark. It was a very enjoyable break and we would thoroughly recommend The Studio.

Really lovely place, if anything the photos don't do it justice.
Really lovely place, if anything the photos don't do it justice. It's right on the edge of a huge barely field with great views, very quiet and peaceful. This particular cottage has it's own concealed garden, which is great for dining or sitting out in the sun - and great if you have a dog, as it's pretty secure and they can just wander in and out of the cottage. The only down side was the lack of internet connection (there is a WiFi signal but we didn't manage to connect to it). I believe the owners have dug trenches for broadband cables but work had to stop as a result of 'lock-down' so this should improve in the future. Still a great experience.

We booked the studio before lockdown. We were so pleased that we were able to still go. It couldn’t of been a better place to go in this situation. So peaceful and quiet and plenty of space. It was away from
It all, but close enough to get to places in a few minutes. Everywhere was very clean and a welcome bottle of wine and biscuits was an added bonus. We would definitely recommend this place.

This is the second time we have stayed at this cottage, we love it. It is well set up, beautifully clean and in such a wonderful setting. The bedding and the towels are great quality, the furnishings comfortable and clean, and the bed is huge and v comfortable. The kitchen is well appointed and the wet-room has an amazing shower.
You do have to park your car a little way from the cottage and there is no internet....we used the hotspot from our phones.
A great place to stay..we will definitely be back again soon.

Lovely internal facilities,it was a shame the nearest we could park our car was 75yards away from Studio, which on the day of leaving was raining,so wet luggage & passengers on returning home.
It would be more useful if the welcome pack contained bread, butter, and milk,as being in a remote spot,it was a long way to drive to get basic food supplies.
Otherwise perfect and our dog Holly had a great time.

I was looking for a dog friendly cosy place to stay for a week and came across The Studio.
I was looking for a dog friendly cosy place to stay for a week and came across The Studio. It is as lovely as the photos and a well presented, very clean and spacious place. The kitchen was small, but super well equipped with decent pans, cuttlery, crockery and appliances. The bed was lovely and comfy and the shower always hot. There isn't really WIFI but it isn't advertised as having it, and the phone signal was fine to pick up emails etc. The barn is close to many beautiful places along the Suffolk Coast.
Biscuits and a bottle of lovely wine were very welcomed on arrival!

The Studio is in a good location for visiting the area, in the countryside but close to the sea too.It had everything you would need and has been nicely converted. Photos did not show the bathroom which is a wet room- not my favourite type of bathroom but the shower was good. As there was no heating on at the time towels did not dry very well in here. The bed was big and comfortable but the pillows were hard. I wish I’d brought one of my own! At night I was woken a few times by something scrabbling about in the roof but then you are in the middle of the country! However I am being picky, overall it was great for what we wanted and a good place for starting bike rides in the lovely area. The owners left a bottle of wine and some biscuits for us on arrival but we did not meet them. They left numbers if you needed to contact them though.

Very comfortable and clean. Nice to have a private secure patio for the dog as well as the shared grass area. Not close to shops but some good food at pubs 2 - 4 miles away and a short drive to beautiful coast and nature reserves.
