"Everything about this stay was wonderful: check in was quick and friendly, dinner was really tasty, the room was very clean and new, the pillows and bed were comfortable, and the breakfast was fabulous with lots of protein and gluten free options! The only thing of note is that is it not close to town so a car is beneficial as it is a bit of an expensive Uber ride. "

"Absolutely stunning cottage in peaceful surrounding with excellent facilities. Kitchen was really well equipped and the hob/oven was easy to operate. Bedrooms were comfortable and bathrooms were perfect.We meet the host as we checked in who gave us a tour and answered all our questions.We all said we would happily stay again."

"This was a wonderful experience, very friendly staff who were always ready to help, offering glasses of chilled water in the spacious and well-furnished public rooms and alcohol in the evenings. We stayed in the large Shakespeare room, often used as a Bridal Suite. The spa is great, with a good sized pool, a jacuzzi and unusual sauna. Really good breakfasts served in bedrooms and at the nearby sister-hotel Milsoms. The fine dining at the main restaurant on the nearby River Stour was sublime, with exquisite food, terrific service, a knowledgeable sommelier and wonderful ambience at tables outside under large parasols. Staff offer free shuttle service to and from both restaurants whenever required. A super weekend, we will return."
