If you have mobility issues, this is not your place - the stairs are steep, and getting to the loft is with a straight up ladder - but if you can deal with the stairs you'll be fine, and it would be an amazing place for a family with kids. The road down to the river is well-maintained, and I enjoyed the relaxed hooting of the howler monkeys on my walk."

"Our room was clean, beds were comfortably firm. The bathroom could have used a light fixture closer to the sink/mirror, as half your face was in shadow when shaving. The exterior light above the door did not work, making the entry a bit dark. The food was exceptional at the restaurant. We ate dinner there twice, and were very happy with our meals (tomahawk steak, hamburger, and chicken cordon bleu). The piña colada was delicious. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and eager to provide great service. "

"The staff was so welcoming and helpful!! The room was clean and the beds comfortable. The pillows were very clean plump so beware stomach sleepers. We were on the second floor and took advantage of sitting on the balcony to watch the birds. Bonus - a sloth was 10’ from our breakfast table. Definitely recommend. "
