"It’s a fantastic lodge in the middle of the kungör. The cabins are very rustic, but has electricity and a private bathroom. Wi-Fi in the public building. Good food, wine and beer in the restaurant. Nice tours in the jungle and fantastic personel. If you don’t expect a five star hotel, than you get a five star experience."

"La Finca Azul is a really nice place to stay. We only stayed for one night, but we wish we could have stayed longer. It's surrounded by beautiful nature, with a river nearby. The food was good, and the owner's daughters were really sweet to our two-year-old. If you want a peaceful getaway with nature and friendly people, this is a great place to go."

"We enjoyed the cabin; it was perfect for our needs. It might have been nice to have a chair in the cabin. But we were able to sit at the restaurant tables and use the wifi there. so all our needs were met! Thank you ! "

"Great room with a lovely view from the balcony, quiet, comfortable bed, staff were lovely and very helpful. Pool area was nice and restaurant food was good. Lots of local wildlife can be seen on the site (howler monkeys, macaws, toucans)."
"The Poas Volcano Lodge is a magnificent piece of architecture. The rooms are huge, the beds and other furnishings are all top quality, and the woodwork is very impressive. The common areas are grand and inviting, the grounds are verdant with a few impressive sculptures. The off-season rates are very reasonable. We loved it!
The one area that has room for improvement is the restaurant. Although the staff was very friendly, the meals were average at best. There seemed to be poor communication between the front desk and the restaurant staff regarding pre-ordered breakfast."
"I absolutely recommend this place. The overall experience is outstanding. The place looks like a botanical garden. The room has everything to enjoy your stay. We had a fireplace with firewood and hot tea ( it wasn't warm outside). The only small things that I would add the hooks on the inside of the shower and change a shower nose. On the porch we had a hummingbird feeder and a beautiful calla lillies so we were wathing them all morning. They have a restaurant on the premises with a farmers market fresh food. Menu has a lot to offer. You can select your breakfast from the menu. So far it's my best experience at Costa Rica. I wish I booked more night at this place"
"Staff was friendly and responsive. The location was hard to find in the dark. There was heated mattress pads and a heater for warmth the night we were there. The facilities and property looked beautiful, we were not there long enough to to enjoy."
