"We were there when the sargassum was terrible so the beach experience and odor were unpleasant. Not controllable by the resort but I wish there was better notice of this for planning. We found the spa to be amazing, the rooms were lovely, food was good and proximity to cenotes was good. At night it’s a bit of a dark walk to get to the restaurant area. Better lighting would be good. We were able to take a car and find a beach that gave us our salt water fix. "

"I’m so happy I found this resort. The Air Suite we booked was a dream come true and felt like a treehouse. It was private, surrounded by palm trees and the concrete and wood gave it a soothing minimalist feel that was so relaxing and comforting. The dual shower…exquisite. The best part was the private rooftop deck and plunge pool. We had total privacy and felt surrounded in beauty. The free breakfast was delicious with good options and the hotel restaurant was unbelievable. Their breakfast and dinner service was outstanding. You must try the squid and shrimp empanadas. Our room steward, Raquel, was so kind and accommodating whether it was restaurant suggestions or helping us navigate the area to even making sure we were comfortable. The front desk is also so friendly and helpful. I cannot recommend this resort highly enough. It was truly a dream come true experience and we cannot wait to return, the staff made us feel like we are family. "

"The hotel is very well located in Tulum beach, with direct access to the beach. The staff are really friendly and helpful, as soon as we arrived we were greeted with a very warm welcome from Eliseo, and every member of staff from the concierge team to the restaurant team were always friendly and helpful. I really liked how they communicate with you via WhatsApp before you arrive and during your stay, which is very convenient. Our room was beautiful and relaxing with sea views. Breakfast was included and it was a generous breakfast with fruit and yoghurt plus another breakfast meal on top, also juice and coffees included. We appreciated the long breakfast hours from 8am-1pm so we could take our time and relax. The food is very good quality and reasonable prices in the area. They really take care of nature and are animal friendly, caring for their environment. If there was 1 thing to advise to the hotel I would suggest to have umbrellas for the beach beds. When we laid on the beach, there was no umbrellas for shade so we had to move under a tree. Thank you to the Umi team for making it a great stay. "

"Cute property. Well maintained. Staff courteous and helpful. Breakfast was fresh and simple, not many options. Rooms clean and beautifully decorated. Close to restaurants walkable felt safe in the area. The view was magnificent. You could walk out directly to the beach, which was just a few steps away. View were welcomed with a bottle of champagne on arrival. Beds were comfortable. My only complaint is the mosquitoes, but the staff used citronella candles and offered bug repellent lotion/sprays. We visited in September, but apparently that is a breeding season of the mosquitoes. I don’t know if some sort of mosquito repellent sprays by pest control could be done. But overall pleasant stay. Will definitely come back and stay at the property.."
