Never Again

We needed a place to stay for just one night while we moved from one location to the next. The check in process was good. The internet and WiFi wasn’t working. They did send someone out to try and get it to work. But one of our friends ended up being the one to figure out what was wrong. The beds were comfortable but the kitchen had some type of tiny insects crawling alllll over. We brought some food home in a box and the next day it was covered in bugs. I contacted the host and explained what was going on and how we could not use the kitchen due to all the bugs. They said the bugs had not prevented us from using the kitchen, which made no sense because we were not going to cook in a place with bugs crawling all over. I took videos and pictures but they still didn’t care. It was so gross and the host was very rude

Large, clean, quiet home with big sun deck

Just to be clear we actually only slept on the property one night. My review of this property is based on that; And the communication that we had with the host. First of all I want to say how accommodating and helpful the host was. He was truly very pleasurable to work with and he was quick to welcome us and he was kind and helpful, Although when we arrived and the house was being worked on, and the streets were unpaved and really difficult to drive on and get to the house, which is not at the fault of the owner, he was quickly able to set us up with a rental car which was very helpful. My suggestion is to have a rental car on this island! It’s going to be very difficult to stay in this villa without one. This villa is a bit remote, so no restaurants or bars or grocery stores within walking distance. So you definitely need a car which we did not know prior to arrival. So definitely do your research. And like I said above the roads are not paved so very difficult to walk on and drive on. Overall the house was very clean and very cozy and very large. A friendly layout for a family and a large deck for catching sun and relaxing. The house was in a very quiet part of the island so no noise at night. Great shower pressure and fluffy towels!! I recommend staying here if you have a rental car and if you go grocery shopping prior to arriving to the house.
