Families often find the area around the village centre convenient. It's a good spot for accessing local playgrounds, and the proximity to the town of Imotski (just a few minutes' drive) means easy trips for groceries or more dining options.

The best time to visit Proložac is during late spring (May to early June) or early autumn (September to early October) to enjoy pleasant weather and fewer crowds.

These shoulder seasons offer warm, sunny days superb for exploring the natural beauty of the region without the intense heat and larger visitor numbers of the peak summer months. You'll find it more comfortable for outdoor activities like hiking and cycling, and it's generally easier to secure reservations for popular local restaurants and experiences.

For travellers looking to combine relaxation with exploration, these periods are ideal. The temperature is superb for enjoying the local lakes and rivers, and the surrounding countryside is lush and inviting.
