Great hotel & service

The hotel is new, has great facilities and amazing staff. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars are the other guests who were quite irresponsible when it came to the behaviour of their children. They display obvious lack of discipline and guidance. They were loud and had no respect for other quests. The parents seemed to be oblivious to the house rules.

Amazing staff and very hospitable. We travelled with our two young children both under 5 years of age and the staff were attentive and helpful from the bar and pool staff to the restaurant and games room staff. My kids felt at ease and would love to return again. Great amenities and parking facility which made this hotel a great choice.

Great overall family hotel. Certainly family hotel rather than couples but I imagine out of school holidays the hotel would suit everyone Half board was really good and room with sea view is really the best option Location is good, slightly away from town and a easy walk in Really busy during our stay so hotel does feel very busy around the pool and beach Great roof top bar Special shout out to Klara and Petra who were fabulous in the restaurant

Beautiful new property, well appointed and modern. Also very accessable as we were travelling with someone in our party that uses a walker. Hotel accommodated with the room assigned to her near elevators. Food was very good whatever we ordered. Our favourite was the roof top restaurant for dinner and bar. Great sunset views and reasonably priced menu with great selections.

Very nice hotel! Also the rooms are very beautiful! Service at the Lobby very nice! The only thing which was bad is the room cleaning and the service on the pool.. also the beach is horrible its not privat and as a hotel guest you dont find any space

The staff made the difference. Even though it was reaching the end of the season, the employees reflected happiness, caring, and fun interaction with guests - especially front counter and concierge team. Food quality was good. May be a little healthier food can be offered. Overall, great experience. I stayed there for 9 days. Happy to do it again

Top Class Classy Hotel in Makarska

Top Class Hotel..Everything was Excellent including food, facilities, wellness centre and rooms..I sent a message to the hotel before arrival requesting high floors and rooms next to each other, and i also told them the trip was to celebrate our wedding anniversary..all my requests were granted..we received 6th floor rooms next to each other and a bottle of champagne, and a cake..compliments of the hotel Genersl Manager..a really nice touch, started the holiday off nicely..Also a special mention to Mario in the restaurant for looking after us throughout our stay..Thankyou to all for a Top Holiday

Over-rated hotel in Markaska

Very big hotel - and very touristic atmosphere. A lot of guests, quite noisy, extremely loud and noisy beach bar (completely off its otherwise family style vibe with lots of children), friendly staff (except for the DJ who was mistakenly trying to turn the beach into a nightclub at 2 pm to the extent where we simply had to leave the beach), very touristic buffet restaurant. The hotel seems quite over-rated - should probably be 3.5-4.0 and certainly not 5.0 stars. Would not go again.

Exceptional hotel and team. We were travelling with youngsters through Croatia. The kids corner/play centre was wonderful. Kids were too spoilt. Huge huge games area, organised kids programmes, board games and library . A big thankyou to the doing ladies Iva, Nika, and team. My young ladies were felt very welcomed because of your teams professionalism and kindness . Trully a magical week for our family. Wonderful food choices, location, pool and gym facilities. I will be returning.

The room we were given, the bathroom had an extremely foul smell. We called someone up and the worker said not to go inside the bathroom as there was some plumbing problem. I expected to be moved to another room. They never called to arrange the transfer so I called to get a new room. They placed us in a small, dark room that was clearly inferior to the one we had, and it had no balcony like our original room. The girl at the front desk had the nerve to argue with me about this and finally, she managed to place us in a similar room. Poor customer service, the front desk employees seem annoyed when you ask them for things, not a luxury experience at all. The pool area was good, the breakfast was very good. Rooms did not lock from inside, no locks on door, so my son wandered out when sleep walking. Thankfully we caught him in the hallways. Doors should be able to lock.

Nice location and nice hotel. I would recommend especially for families with children. I paid for 3 rooms and I discovered that the cheaper rooms had better bathrooms. I stayed in the room with full sea view and we had a bath instead of shower and there was an old bath/shower curtain. I wasn’t expecting something like this in a 5* hotel. The cheaper rooms with town view have very nice showers ( plus partial sea view). Another surprise was that we were allowed only one pool towel per person and that we needed a special talon to exchange for a towel. I would recommend to take your own towels if you are planning to visit this hotel. Otherwise fantastic hotel. Great service, Prosecco breakfast and huge choice of food and drinks. Local herbal brandy to help with digestion was a nice touch. Great value for money.

Beautiful Hotel for families, not couples!

Luxury family child friendly hotel, chic interior and lovely pool by the sea. The breakfast was excellent, even a glass of bubbly. We had a room with partial seaview, so it was on the first floor and looking into a ramp of some kind, so not the best view. The room was beautifully clean, and spacious. Bed mattress a little firm. Markaska had beautiful beaches, Rocky rather than sandy, but the sea was gorgeous, lots of paddle boards, jet skis and watersports to entertain and the beaches exceptionally clean, the locals obviously take great pride in the area. When we arrived at the weekend it was very busy with tourists, and full of families and small children. This includes the hotel, not a place to go if you are looking for peace and quiet, it is definitely a more family oriented hotel and location. With kids club, noisy aqua aerobics classes in the pool and the Heath and wellness centre still had lots of little kids running around in the pool, sauna and whirlpool. Staff did their best to enforce rules but parents weren’t really bothered! On the whole it was a great stay, as a couple with no kids we just had to find our quiet spot and luckily opted for BB only so escaped in the evenings. Big thank you to the staff though, they were great and obviously work really hard.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay here. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the rooms were very nice. There were many options for enjoying the beauty poolside, as well as by the beach. The hotel is on the beach boardwalk with many opportunities for eating out.
