"I've stayed at Old Silk Appartments twice so far in apartments 8 and 9. Both I found spotless, white soft towels, comfy beds, tastefully decorated well maintained and adequately appointed. Large fridge freezer, 4 ring hob oven and microwave, basic set of kitchen utensils and a couple of pans adequate to cook something simple. "The room was not clean . There was no wifi , when i asked the receptionist they were help less and told me that we can’t do anything with that . And no room service for 3 days . And the bed was not clean i got allergies after sleeping with that . And got rashes issues all over the body . I won’t recommend to stay here."

"The room was a good size with a bath. Only 1 pillow each which was very flat so the next day I asked at reception if I could have another two pillows to be told no they only have enough for two pillows in each room so I said I’m sure not every room is booked out can you please sort 2 pillows she said she will have a word with housekeeping and get them sent up. They never turned up. Also I only drink tapwater with a lot of ice my husband drinks Coke with no ice. I asked for a pint glass with just ice because it was hot, so it would melt quickly. To be told no, she is saving that for people who buy drinks I said I’m buying a can of Coke as well and her answer was your husband doesn’t want Ice with that. Because of the staff, I would not stay here again."

"the rating would be much higher if it weren't for the rudeness experienced during the check-in process. The key box was nearly impossible to find. The manager was very rude and completely impatient as we tried to navigate the property to find it. He kept referencing the photos in the property guide and chastising me for having not "read the guide." Unfortunately, the area next to the property is under construction and an important landmark in the photo is now gone making the "guide" irrelevant. He was a real jerk. Once we were able to access the property, it was fine. Very clean and secure. Visitors should note that construction has made driving around the property very difficult unless you are using a taxi or a bus. "

"Convenient location accessed from a non description door just down from Pizza express. Inside it's stark, light grey walls, no decoration, more prison-esque than relaxing retreat at the end of the day. Convenient for food and pubs and quiet it's in a good location. Clean inside, large bathroom with scalding hot water I reported as dangerously hot. There are better, nicer, and cheaper serviced apartments in Coventry city centre."
