Best view ever
Absolutely beautiful view of the bay/water/mountains from the balcony!! We saw several rainbows! Heaven on earth! Room was small but bed and pillows were super comfy, and nice size shower. Coffee maker and hot water pot convenient for morning coffee, tea. A few k-cups were there for us. Frig in room. Owner communication was good and very quick to respond. Resort has daily parking and resort fee so be prepared to pay that on top of VRBO charge. Was nice to be able to walk down directly to a beautiful sand beach. Happy Talk restaurant had live entertainment each night. Good cocktails!

This room was amazing! My husband and I stayed here for two nights and were very pleased. I read in other reviews that the room was noisy? We didn’t expirence anything like that but the room is connected to the neighboring apartment so I guess if those guest are really loud you could hear them. But don’t let that detour you! Room- 10/10 Resort- beautiful but a few things to note This is a very much “bring your own stuff” type of resort. There is no room service, pool bar, or convenient store. Maybe that was the case because we were there in off-season, but I wish I would have planned differently. So just make sure you have snacks/drinks for the room and pool. This room is far from the parking and lobby but they do have golf cart shuttles to help with luggage. So no biggie. The beach area is gorgeous! A long walk down a paved road which is close to the room and you can call for a shuttle to bring you back up! Very convenient! Overall we were so impressed with the room and view! The sunrises and sunsets are unmatched. So many beautiful birds and wild life to watch from the balcony. Again, it just wasn’t the resort/drinks by the pool pool vibe I was envisioning.

If I could give this property 10 stars, I would. The studio is modern, clean, comfortable, and appears to have been recently remodeled and appointed with tasteful furnishings -- just perfect for a romantic get-away for two. And that view of Hanalei Bay is simply unparalleled. The vaulted ceiling makes this property seem light and airy. The wee kitchen/bar is a snug fit but it works (dishes, Keurig, and mini fridge -- no microwave). The bathroom had a great walk-in shower but because it was open on one end, the floor ended up getting pretty wet (just know that it will). The resort property has a (steep and somewhat lengthy) walkway to the beach. There is a golf cart/shuttle service that will take you back up the hill if you desire. Just place a call at the shuttle station down at the beach and a golf cart is there within minutes. The resort grounds were beautifully maintained and the pool is gorgeous. Staff was awesome too. Love this place.

My main gripe with this place is the price. It was listed at a fairly reasonable price per night but between the owner’s fees, VRBO fees and resort fees, it ended up being almost twice the listing price per night. If I had known that at the time of booking I would have kept looking. The lanai has a gorgeous view of the ocean and mountains. It’s a great place to watch the sunrise! The room and lanai feel very private since it’s a top floor corner unit. The AC unit was broken during the duration of our stay, but we managed with the lanai door open since it had a screen. The sound of the ocean and birds was so peaceful to wake up to! Like other reviews have mentioned, you can hear noise from the adjoining room. They were doing dishes and talking before 6 AM one morning, which woke me up. Overall, I would recommend this place for its location, views and modern design. However, I don’t think that it’s worth the total cost.

Great place to relax
This was the perfect spot for a getaway. Wake up every morning with an amazing view, great property that included a pool and restaurant, and awesome beach access. Short 10 minute drive go Hanalei which had lots of fun shops and great restaurants.

Our accommodation was really nice. The view from our balcony was amazing. At the beach, We enjoyed using the blue beach chairs which were very comfortable. Just to let Seth know, the hair dryer was of poor quality, the ceiling fan didn’t activate & there was only 1 knife for us to use. These items did not affect the quality of our stay.

Perfect Paradise getaway!
What a fantastic time we had in Kauai! This rental was exactly what we needed. To be able to wake up and see the view while laying in bed is unmatched. The deck was perfect and literally has the best view of the bay. We spent every morning out there with our coffee in absolute peace. We would rent this property again! Aloha!!

Pros: best views, no obstructions from Hanalei Bay view. Nice resort, modern and clean. Nice amenities. Cons: no blackout curtains, noise coming from apartment next door. Overall, I loved this place and will definitely recommend it to friends and family visiting Kauai.

Beautiful Condo!!
This condo truly felt so luxurious, and was above and beyond our expectations. The condo is part of a larger resort, so we had access to the resort's pool, tennis courts, beach, and restaurant. You could come here for a week and never leave the resort if that is what you wanted! Also, the view from the balcony cannot be beat. We sat every morning and night out there looking at the water, enjoying either coffee or a drink. 10/10 recommend, this place is awesome.

Lovely view, great value for price
We loved this for our honeymoon and I can't wait to stay here again. Only issue is that there's very little noise protection from the adjoining room so you can hear your neighbors.

**SHARED UNIT** This is a bedroom that you share with whoever rents the condo attached to the bedroom. This wasn't specified when booking. If it was, I wouldn't have ever booked this unit. The couple sharing the condo part were extremely loud for our stay. The host doesn't care at all. I booked this for my wifes birthday and it was the worst decision. Please be advised that if you're looking for a quiet getaway, I hope you don't have anyone booking the condo while you're in the bedroom! At least change it in your listing that you're renting a room in the condo. False advertising by far! We feel scammed, and I'm writing this so no one has to feel the way we feel. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay!
This property is the perfect location - loved the view from the room, the resort was lovely, and it’s only a 10-15 minute drive into Hanalei Bay for great food. There are bellman that will give you a ride anywhere you would like to go on the property, including the beach and two pools. Seth was easy to communicate with, and the unit had everything I needed. Would definitely stay here again!

Amazing place with an even better view!
We had a lovely time staying at this property. It's a cozy, well decorated, studio located on a great resort. The view alone was enough to keep us happy during our stay (we had a rainbow our first morning!), but the comfortable bed, modern interior, and prime beach access were huge plus'. The close proximity (~10 min drive) to downtown Hanalei was perfect for local cuisine and culture. Only negative was hearing your neighbor from time to time. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and hope others will too!

Surreal!
This was our first time visiting Kauai and we wanted to start our trip in the lush North side of the island in a place that felt special, romantic and a bit private. Seth’s property absolutely blew our expectations out of the water. The pictures on the site do not do this place justice. This is absolute magic. You can tell how much hard work went into creating this dreamy, light-filled sanctuary. The check in process was seamless and the Hanalei Bay Resort staff treated us like royalty. The grounds were immaculate and better than anything we could have expected. The views from the room were out of this world and with just a short walk down a paved trail, you are at a private sandy beach nestled in a cove before the bay. Morning coffee on the lanai, all our essentials fit in the mini fridge and perfectly situated mini bar, we slept amazingly in the AC and couldn’t get over that view. This place will always be special to us as we found out we’re expecting our first baby on our last morning here!! No words to describe how grateful we were to stay here and we hope to have the chance to return to make more memories. Thank you, Seth!

Beautiful. The view posted on the live cam from the resort is the view from our room. Simply gorgeous. The room is nicely appointed and comfortable. Close to trail to beach but private end unit in the resort itself. We would come back in a heartbeat!

We loved our time here! The view from the room is absolutely gorgeous! Would definitely stay again. Close to Hanalei Bay and other northern attractions. The room was clean and modern. Other reviews are true, the walk to the private beach is quite a jaunt. As well as to the parking lot. They do have bellhops and golf carts to help you get around, so bring some cash for tips. Pool and restaurant was great. If you’re looking for a VRBO that you’re able to cook meals in, this is not for you.

Serene, modern, romantic!
Great room! Clean, beautiful and comfortable. The views are incredible. It seems like there have been a few updates since past reviews. There is a nice large coffee table on the balcony. There was cream, sugar & keurig cups as well as a one cup French press and kettle if you bring your own coffee. The mini fridge is a good size and there were nice dishes, glasses etc... The only suggestions I have would be to add a shower curtain as the floor gets really wet and install a thicker privacy door between the units. (If possible) The door was definitely not sound proof or smell proof. We could smell everything the main unit was cooking.

What a beautiful location! We were thoroughly pleased. The unit is very up to date. There is quite a bit of a long walk from the parking area to the unit. There are bellhops available to help, but it definitely adds some time overhead if you're coming and going a lot.

Just the Basics
This 9306 unit is pretty much as advertised. No elevator access, no microwave, no cream or sugar for the "free" coffee. It did have a pretty sweet view of Hanalei Bay. I wouldn't agree to its claim of "ocean front" or "beach" as the stroll to the beach is a couple hundred yards down a steep path. It also is the closest unit to the construction ongoing at the adjacent property previously known as the Princeville Resort. It is also the likely the furthest unit from the parking lot on the other side of the property. Fortunately they do provide porters with a golf cart to move luggage (and assist with trips to the beach). Parking is first come, first serve. Fortunately for the property it is accessible for Lihue without having to go through the partial road closure near the Hanalei bridge. Be very aware of the road closure schedule if you plan to go to or west of Hanalei. The unit would definitely benefit from a small microwave, outdoor lighting on the balcony, and a small table on the balcony to set your coffee or wine. Lastly, the unit did have a distinctly unpleasant smell. It was noticeable each time we returned but seem to dissipate fairly quickly when we opened the doors and turned on the fans to air out the place. Seth was very helpful and responsive to all my questions.

Great studio in Princeville
We had a lovely time and the view from the balcony was amazing! HBR is a beautiful resort with a wonderful pool and numerous tennis courts. Since this condo is close to the beach it was a long walk from the parking lot ...but you can always ask for a golf cart ride. We appreciated the k cups but would’ve love to have had some additional supplies - basic cleaning supplies, cutlery, a plate or two, and a small table on the balcony would be great additions.
