"I loved this opportunity to stay in Ingram, at the East entrance to the Northumberland National Park. This B&B is luxurious, quiet and lovely, with great food and atmosphere. There is easy access to beautiful walks in and above the Breamish Valley.
I would definitely stay here again."
"This is a lovely hotel. We had a room in the Pole Barn which had its own outside seating. The seating here could do with being a wee bit more comfortable, but it was a nice touch. The room was small but very well-designed - controllable temp and lighting, a fridge and a great bathroom. The restaurant was lovely - big, airy and stylish. The food was excellent adn the main bonus was the staff -friendly and helpful without fail."
"Perfect location between Barter Book and the Playhouse with bus stop right outside. Clean, quiet, comfortable. Nice patio outside to enjoy summer evenings. Not fancy, but if your tastes are simple and you want an affordable base from which to explore the area, this is the place for you. "

"Property was clean ,very good breakfast selection room was lovely, easy access to locations visited .staff were very friendly.,water pressure in shower was a little low but on the whole a very pleasant stay."
"Unfortunately, the check-in at this hotel was one of the worst I’ve experienced. Firstly, they do not accept American Express, which was inconvenient and not clearly stated in advance. The receptionist then struggled to process my alternative card, insisting it didn’t work. I politely asked her to try again and of course, the card worked perfectly the third time, confirming it was a user error on her part.
What made the situation worse was her lack of apology or acknowledgment of the mistake. Instead, her attitude was dismissive and unnecessarily rude. She did not appear to have the experience or professionalism required for a front-facing role, which set a poor tone for the stay."
"Had a really great 2 night stay. Room was lovely, so comfortable. It was a great period style - but still provided for today’s needs - great wi-if, large shower, plenty of sockets. Ellen looked after us really well and couldn’t do enough for us. As for the breakfast - superb! Great choices and didn’t need lunch! "
Cosy cottage with delightful private garden and summerhouse.
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful place in a peaceful village. The cottage was 5 stars. We loved staying in the cottage, everything there for us, couldn't have asked for more. Our dog loved the garden and so did we, so peaceful to sit and listen to the bird's. Tjete is just one little thing, the cottage is not accessible by car, we had to carry everything down a narrow lane to the cottage which was a little disappointing as i have a curvature of the spine and not very mobile, i think this needs to be brought to peoples attention before booking. Overall though we loved every moment and would recommend anyone who wants a peaceful escape. The beaches are amazing near by "
Pet friendly, fantasy castle, for romantic trysts or for family fun.

"Our recent stay as East Lodge was wonderful. The property is set in castle grounds, in a fairly secluded area. The property has all amenities you could ask for, and the owners guide is very thorough, full of recommendations and is quite humorous. There are so many places to visit nearby which makes Chillingham such a good base. Max called in to check we were having a good time and all was well with the property which was a nice touch. I wouldn’t hesitate to reach out to Max as he is full of recommendations and genuinely wants you to have a brilliant stay. Will be back again to stay. "
