"2 minutes from Alnwick Playhouse with cinema, cafe and tourist centre information. 5 minutes from Alnwick Gardens & Castle and Barter Books. Plenty of places to eat and shop. Across the road from bus stop coastal route to Berwick on Tweed & Newcastle via coastal towns and villages. 20 mins bus ride away from Alnmouth station with trains to Berwick and Edinburgh. I had a wonderful week there. "

"Liker Plusrommene på Premier inns. Hotellet er i et industriområde, så ikke mye å se rundt hotellet, men hyggelig personale og rolig og komfortabelt."

"Lovely little hotel apart from being locked in, having to get out via the fire escape with luggage, and finding the hotel place shut down and locked up. Really bizarre situation, with breakfast apparently served from 8, yet not a a soul in site or contactable on phone or email. A shame as great location, friendly welcome the night before and nice room."

"The stay was just for overnight on way to Edinburgh. The hotel itself ok but the town was cute walkable and right on the North Sea. Found a great pub and then a restaurant for an amazing dinner. The hotel did live up to the haunted tales as we did experience something paranormal but not scary. "

"Parking was easy, check-in was quick with welcoming and friendly staff. Our room was spacious and comfortable, well-appointed with plenty of hot water pressure. We enjoyed a good quality evening meal in the restaurant and returned for a breakfast that offered many options the following morning."
"Very clean, lovely staff, great parking and good bar.
However, the room was freezing and had to sleep in my coat. Radiator never came on even though it was set to high.
Also, need more than just 1 sachet of milk."
"We stayed in The Chapel - it was breathtaking! Incredibly high standard of finishes, decor and furnishings. Modern and luxurious within the historic frame of the building and it's facinating history. Staff were super friendly, helpful and accommodating. We'd have no hesitation staying again and highly recommend The Cookie Jar if you're looking for a memorable overnight accommodation experience anywhere near Alnwick."

10/10 Excellent
"We had an excellent stay at this property. It's in a brilliant location and we could walk to everything we wanted to see in Alnwick. It was perfectly equipped for self-catering. It's also really well placed for the local bars and restaurants so we had full choice of staying in or eating out.
The instructions for arrival and advice about parking were all clear and helpful. There was nothing we would have changed about the facilities. The people in Alnwick were friendly and helpful and there was lots to do. A thoroughly enjoyable stay."
